This bachelor work turns its attention to selected the main international violin competitions. Individual chapters are sorted by creation competition. Chapter 1 describes the international federation that ensures and helps in the functioning of many competitions. Chapter 2-7 is a competition that fall under this international federation. The last chapter is an example of competition where are two age's limits, is an independent organization and is not among the members WFIMC.

This thesis deals with Korean Approach to their Cultural Heritage. The first part focuses on the legal measures and categorization of the cultural heritage with emphasis on the category of national treasures. The following part deals with organizations concerned with the protection, administration, research and promotion of monuments. In the next chapter are mentioned cultural properties inscribed on the UNESCO list together with two prizes sponsored by the Republic of Korea. The last part describes the efforts of Koreans for the return of Korean cultural heritage from abroad.

My thesis Prizes and Awards as a Means of Mystification of Cultural Value focuses on questions of prizes and awards in the cultural area. Thesis considers the positive and negative aspects of prizes and awards. The phenomenon of prizes and awards is researched in historical, etymological, sociological and institutional position. The general base is aesthetic and sociological theory of Jan Mukařovský, Arthur Danto, George Dickie and Pierre Bourdieu. Key concepts are formed by aesthetic function, norm, value, artworld, literary and art field. There are also practical examples (newspaper articles, press releases, Web sites etc.) applied to theory and concepts of prizes and awards.
