The influence of manual therapy of cervical spine and temporomandibular joint on tinnitus.

To assess the effectiveness of physical interventions for cervicogenic and temporomandibular joints to reduce Tinnitus. Moreover, this systematic review will assess various physical therapy and optimal tinnitus management approaches. Methodology A systematic review of potential literature was performed following PRISMA guidelines. A comprehensive electronic search across PubMed, CINAHL, Science Direct, Embase, Cochrane library, and Scopus from 1991 to October 2022. I assessed the standard mean difference of intervention within and between the studies. The quality assessment of randomized and non-randomized control trials is performed using the Cochrane risk of bias assessment and the Newcastle-Ottawa scale respectively. Results Nine studies were included in this systematic review (1 cohort and 8 clinical trials). 470 patients were included overall. I used Visual analog scale (5 studies), Tinnitus handicap inventory (4 studies) and self-design questionnaires (3 studies) to describe the results. Different manual therapies were used to intervene and all of them showed statistically significant effect in improving subjective tinnitus in patients. Possibilities of physiotherapy in disoders of temporomandibular joint

This bachelor thesis studies the options of physiotherapy in temporomandibural joint disorder. The main objective of this thesis is mapping the issue out and describing options of physiotherapy in patients with the TMJ disorder, but also evaluating the efficiency of physiotherapy and its impact on patients with this disorder. The theoretical part is focused on TMJ anatomy, movements in the jaw joint, TMJ disorders, TMJ examinations, causes of disorder and treatment. Practical part is processed using two case studies where patients with different diagnosis have been put trough the initial examination as well as therapy during the necessary time which should have led to an improvement of their difficulties, followed by an exit examination and of course, continued treatment.

It is mainly basic delimiting of terms and areas in the dentistry. In the next step we are engaged in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) problematic, which is often ignored and trends in EHR and voice technologies are also described. In the methodological part are described delineated technologies used during the EHR system creation, voice recognition and TMJ disease classification. Following part incorporates results description, which are corresponding with the knowledge base in dentistry and TMJ.
