Detekce typu a bodového ohodnocení kartiček ve hře Hobiti
Hlinský, Martin ; Kohút, Jan (referee) ; Vaško, Marek (advisor)
This thesis aims to create a card detector that can train a model that can detect the score of a card and its type using the synthetic generation of the dataset. The YOLOv8 model is used for training. The first step is to take pictures of the cards, which then go through a pre-processing stage so they do not contain background and are aligned. These pre-processed card images are combined with photos from other datasets in a generator that randomly translates, rotates, and otherwise simulates photos of possible card placements. This generator’s output is roughly 50 000 annotated images in the case of the Hobiti game, but different dataset sizes and pre-trained weights are compared in the experiments. The latest generation of trained detectors was validated on a real dataset for unbiased testing, and the most accurate model trained on purely synthetic datasets achieved precision up to 81.5 % according to the 50 metric. It is then possible to implement, for example, a point counter on the final detector, a prototype of which is also described in this paper.
Abacus at kindergarten
Hiťhová, Daniela ; Kaslová, Michaela (advisor) ; Slezáková, Jana (referee)
This diploma thesis detects whether the children are in kindergarten able to accept the counter at selected activities/games. Children can develop dispositions within these activities/games and deepen skills related to premathematical literacy. The theoretical part focuses on the history of the counter and acquaints with the kinds of counters, their using and ways to use. This part is based on the theory of the term "natural number" and on related processes in the development of premathematical literacy. Farther is based on game theory, defines and classifies the game from different perspectives especially in relation to monitored series of activities. The practical part submites series of ten activities/games, that are designed for five to six year old children. Each activities are characterized, implementation of activities is documented and analyzed. Photographs and video records of selected parts are added to the diploma thesis.
Vývoj softwarové aplikace pro zpracování vzorků planktonu
KROČÁK, Vladimír
This bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of a new application for quantitative processing of zooplankton samples and replaces current application in use developed by prof. RNDr. Adam Petrusek, Ph.D. The application will also be used as a framework for further needs of the Department of Ecosystem Biology, Faculty of Science, University of South Bohemia. The application and its source code will be released under MIT license to allow its further development.
Place-value system and interactive teaching at secondary school
DVOROŽŇÁK, Marek
This diploma thesis deals with teaching of place-value systems in secondary school with use of created computer program. The theoretical part of the thesis deals, apart from other things, with some good reasons to teach non-base ten systems. The main part of the thesis deals with created computer program that contains teaching of binary number system and with created computer model of a counting device. These programs are also accessible from the internet. Results of experimental teaching that took place in two secondary schools are included in the thesis as well.
