Migrants in Czech Republic their health-social situacion
SEIFERTOVÁ, Lucie
The Bachelor Thesis is divided into two parts ? a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with migration and the needs of the migrants living within the Czech Republic and I used some related literature to compile this part. Maslowov's hierarchy was used to describe the needs. Both state and non-profit organisations, which provide help to the female migrants, are mentioned in the work. The primary survey, which served as a base in the carried out qualitative research, is presented in the practical part. I decided to collect the data for the qualitative research through partly controlled interviews. I focused on the health and social conditions of the female migrants living in North Bohemia based on the needs determined by the Maslowov's hierarchy. The research results show that needs the female migrants, who have been residing in the Czech Republic for less than two years, are disturbed in all areas. The second group of migrants, who have been residing in the Czech Republic for longer than ten years, shows that the migrants have mostly got used to the system, they know the language, have friends and the integration proceeds successfully.
