Personality of Manager and its Development
EKTOVA, Marina
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the development of managerial personality and examines how theoretical knowledge on the topic can be applied in real work environment to support the personal growth and professional development of managers. The aim is to evaluate personality characteristics of three selected managers and propose methods for developing their personalities. The MBTI personality test, the Belbin Team Roles test and the management coaching are used to achieve this goal. The coach guides managers towards self-reflection, enabling them to clearly define their specific goals, identify potential obstacles, and ways to achieve them. Furthermore, considering the preferences and requirements of managers, suitable practices for further developing managerial personality are proposed, and calculations of expected financial and time costs associated with their implementation are compiled. Manager A is characterized as a charismatic extroverted leader with developed strategic thinking and aims to enhance his time management skills. Manager B, a humane introvert and "teamworker", aims to improve his English language proficiency. Manager C is an ambitious and decisive leader with the goal of constantly developing of his professional competencies and managerial skills. The calculations show that the time and financial costs of achieving the set goals may vary depending on the method chosen by managers. Recommended development methods include offline or online courses, workshops, self-study, development programs, internships, webinars, coaching, trainings, and can be implemented both in groups and individually or realized directly within the organization.

MÁSÍLKOVÁ, Michaela
This thesis is focused on the stable individual behavioural tendencies, i.e. personality, in non-human primates. The studies included in the thesis address questions related to the methods of personality assessment and evolutionary bases of personality. The personality structures in three callitrichid species in captivity, including common marmosets (Callithrix jacchus), cotton-top tamarins (Saguinus oedipus), and golden-handed tamarins (Saguinus midas), were investigated using common behaviour coding and trait rating. More specifically, the minimum length of observation necessary to describe the personality structure, the similarities and differences between personality structures of two related tamarin and one more distantly related marmoset species, and the links between personality and reproductive success, were investigated.

Selected Legal Aspects of Personality Assessment in the Recruitment Process Martina Černá This thesis deals with some essential legal aspects of personality assessment (also called "personality testing") in the recruitment process, focusing on the cases when personality testing (or any other form of psychodiagnostics) is not specifically regulated by a respective profession-specific law. This is of particular importance as the personality tests are capable to reveal private and often sensitive data about the job applicant, while their use is only regulated by the most general provisions of the applicable law. While personality assessment has been part of the recruitment process in many companies, there is no standard practice setting out when and to what extent its use is necessary or useful. As a result, the employers are left to rely only on their own judgment, which does not always appear to be sound. Some experts in psychology warn against inappropriate use of psychodiagnostics methods (not only) in recruitment and human resources advisory, pointing out that there's not enough regulation to protect psychodiagnostics against misuse. In order to seek potential answers to this issue, I addressed a broader legal context of personality testing and analysed the existing relevant law to assess to what...
