Memoirs of Ladislav Malý, native of Pribram

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of personal sources. Its aim is to describe life of Ladislav Malý (1862-1956), native of Pribram, educator, writer, traveller and regional historian, and especially to characterize two books of his memoirs, which fall into the 19th century. The first chapter of this thesis introduces the history of Pribram, with emphasis on the 19th century, the second part introduces the author Ladislav Malý and the third chapter provides an analysis of two volumes of his memoirs, their external and internal description, taking into account contemporary everyday life of Pribram.
