Health Effects of volleyball players

Title: The influence of volleyball on sports and after sports life of players Objectives: The aim of this work is to find out in a comprehensive way the extent to which players are affected by long-term performance in an active volleyball team, how it affects the psychosomatic state of players and the possible impact of the game on the life of the player even after their sports career. Methods: The thesis uses many-case exploratory studies with data collection through structured questionnaire forms and supplementary interviews. A total of 60 respondents participated in this qualitative research. The obtained data was examined by using the thematic analysis method. Tables and accompanying reports were used as an output form, formulating the researched phenomena and connecting the research with the theoretical part of the work. Results: The collected data emphasized the importance of respecting the personalities of the players in all aspects. They confirmed the importance of harmony between the physical and mental aspects of the approach to training and game, and thus emphasized the psychosomatic unity that must be respected by the coach if the goal is a top notch game of the team as a whole. Changes in locomotor apparatus due to an injury with permanent consequences

Title: Changes in the locomotor apparatus due to an injury with permanent consequences Objectives: The aime of the diploma thesis is to define changes in motor system of chosen persons after injury using classic methods often used in physiotherapy. In addition, it presents some of the options of therapy and self-therapy, education and reeducation in the area of the client's behavior towards his health. Methods: This diploma thesis is formed with use of qualitative research. It is a pilot study focused on five persons with permanent consequences in motor system. The content of examination is an anamnesis, an ori- entational static examination, an examination of shortened muscles, en examination of muscle strenght, an evaluation of posture and body distances. All above were meassured every 3 - 4 months, when the changes in body posture due to premanent consequences are ob- served. Results: All data are processed using tables and graphs. Results has shown an improvement in all clients in different degree. Improvement in postu- re and activation of coremuscles. Excercises also improved stere- otype in breathing. Health and psychosocial aspects of mental anorexia patients with remission

The practical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on two goals. The first one is to map if the fight with mental anorexia influences the real life of healed women and if yes find out how. The second goal is to map the opinions of chosen population on use of methods and techniques of social work with support their inclusion to normal life. After reaching goals research questions were set up: How mental anorexia influenced current life of women who had this illness? How can social worker support patients in remitted with inclusion to normal life? The research strategy is quantity research. To get the data, method of semi-structured interview with grown up women who went successfully through anorexia and are currently getting to normal life. The interview was lead "face to face." Another method of getting data was observation. Examined group were five women. Individual interviews with them were finished in winter 2016. Method of data processing was to make biographies, the second one was quality content analysis according to grounded theory. The results are presented with double ways. The first one is answers of women, the second one is their stories. From research results we can say that mental anorexia does not influence life of healed women in the vast majority of cases. From the answers we can say that these women does not want help from social workers, especially for two reasons. Women did not know where to seek for this kind of help and they would not be able to accept help from foreign people. My bachelor thesis could serve as a source of material for social workers and professionals in the field of eating disorder.
