The topic of my bachelor thesis is to increase labour productivity with the focus on development of business, particularly in IFE-CR, a.s. Theoretical part describes particular company and deals with all basic concepts, terms and theoretical methods of solving problems associated with labour productivity. Analytical part discusses method of valuation of labour productivity which is done by IFE-CR, a.s. and analysis of labour productivity from different points of view. Final part includes my own concept of possible solutions with the aim of increasing labour productivity in the company.

Productivity and its measurement

The thesis deals with the issue of productivity and its measurement. It is divided into two parts. The first, methodological part describes the theoretical apparatus of total productivity, which the second, practical part is based on. It deals with analyzing of productivity in the enterprise EUROVIA-Kameňolomy s.r.o. The introductory chapters focuse on the introduction of a company and description of the industry in which the company operates. Other chapters are devoted to the calculations of total productivity, partial productivities of different factors of production and their year-to-year comparisons calculated by indexes.

Productivity and its measuring

The aim of the methodological part of the Master's Thesis is to built up theoretical knowledge of total productivity and factor productivity and to define various approaches to productivity growth. The aim of the practical part is to analyse productivity of the company TATRASVIT SVIT - SOCKS, a.s. Consequently, the chosen indicators of the company, which are described in the theoretical part, are compared to those of the whole textile and clothing industry. A specific part is focused on the influence of the exchange rate on exporters. The specific conclusions and recommendations to the company management are drawn at the end of the Master's Thesis.
