These bachelor thesis deals with the issue of powdery mildew on grapevine. The work contains history, taxonomy and morphological characteristics of the pathogen and symptoms of disease. Powdery mildew is a fungal disease of grapevine whose meaning has been in recent years increased and is one of the most serious ones. The occurrence of powdery mildew was monitored in Mutěnice in 2018 on ten grape varieties. On those varieties the intensity of disease and the damage index were assessed. The highest frequency was determined for the varieties Sylvaner, St. Laurent and Cabernet Moravia, average damage index for Sylvaner (86,9%), St. Laurent (86,4%) and Cabernet Moravia (84,7%). To protect the grapevine from powdery mildew there are recommended preventive measures and fungicidal preventive and curative protection.

Abstract My bachelor thesis deals with fungal diseases of grapevine. It focuses on fungal diseases. The first part is devoted to theoretical knowledge related to the issue. There are individual reasons, including their symptoms and protection. The practical part deals with fungal diseases of the strain. Their symptoms, origin, occurrence and protection. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to an interview with Ing. Peter Ackermann, who studies the fungal diseases of the strain.

Rezistencia viniča voči hubovým chorobám - známe mechanizmy a molekulárne základy

Bachelor's thesis is primarily focused on describing known mechanisms of grapevine resistance and its related species against main fungal diseases which are downy mildew, powdery mildew and grey mold. It also observes genetic basis of these reactions and range of its general knowledge. It briefly characterize given pathogens and their life cycle as well as botanic profile and origin of grapevine. The work also characterize elicitors and their role within induction of grapevine resistance to these diseases. Further it summarize historical progress in breeding of resistant grapevine varieties.
