The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the budget of the municipality Pustiměř in 2012–2016. The bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of revenues and expenditure of the selected municipality and further its economy in the moni-tored period. The methods of horizontal and vertical analysis are used when pro-cessing the budget municipality data in a monitored period. The bachelor thesis contains suggestions for more efficient use of funds and grant titles. The results of this bachelor thesis can be used as materials in the elaboration of budget of Pustiměř in the following years.

This bachelor thesis deals with an evaluation of the management of the municipality of Sedliště 2012 - 2014. The work includes a theoretical and a practical part and a draft of a solution. The theoretical part focuses on the explanation of terms related to the topic. The second part contains an analysis and classification of income and expenditure. The practical part is completed by a monitoring of municipal management according to the Ministry of Finance and of the draft budget for 2015. The final part discusses questionnaire survey oriented on satisfaction with the management of the municipality of Sedliště and a suggestion for using surplus budgets as an investment that will lead to the development of the municipality.

Analysis and the community management's prospect

The bachelor´s work evaluates the management of the community called Albrechtice nad Vltavou in the years 2008 - 2013. From evaluated indicators there are set possible scenarios how the incomes and expenses of the community could progress. The work is divided into two parts. The first part is concentrated on the theoretical point of view of the issue. The outlined information was taken from specialized literature or articles and served to the preparation of the analysis and the prospect of the community management. So there are solved the problems concerning the community and its operation. There is also described the community budget in the bachelor´s work, its characteristics and structure. In details there are mentioned the characteristics of the community incomes and expenses and financial analyses. In the second, practical part there are worked out the real numbers taken from reports of the community Albrechtice nad Vltavou. There is drawn up the financial analysis from the given figures, which characterizes the actual state of the community. Then there are created three possible scenarios of the future development of the community operational balance. These scenarios should serve as the base for the future decision about the acceptance of the capital investment.
