Furniture design for specified company

This diploma thesis is dealing with the problematics of entrance halls and furniture, which is used in this space. The aim of the thesis is to develop a furniture design for the entrance hall and manufacture the product by a Czech company. It collaborates with the work which started during the exchange studies in Finland. The design of the product comes from the theoretical part and it also considers the possibilities of the company. There is a historical development of the entrance halls furniture, its function, and a research, which contains ergonomic and safety standards. There are also described used materials for the final product. In the practical part, there are sketches, the development of the products in Finland by the author and the production of the product by the Czech company.

The main task of this bachelor's thesis is to create a design of anteroom furniture, which will be visually relieved and released from classic box shapes. This work consists of three main parts. The first part focuses on parameters, distribution and storage history. In the second part of this work, the main topic is the hall and the materials and technologies connected with it. The last, practical part is focused on the development of the design from the first sketches to the presentation of final design and final visualizations.

Thesis deals with issues of storage furniture, which is designed for an entrance area of a family house. It's therefore a hall equipment. Theoretical part of the thesis deals with appropriate kinds of furniture for a hall, which is primarily storage furniture. Aslo it discusses about problems of furniture dimension, material, construction and safety. Final proposal of hall equipment is based on search existing offers on the czech market. Practical part of the thesis deals with construction solution of furniture design in the hall. The main point is worked out technological documentation.

Typology of the storage spaces, ergonomics, its historical development, materials and current trends this industry are mentioned in the work. The work also includes survey of the current state of storage furniture in the hall, summary and based on custom design layouts for different sizes halls households.

The topic of this thesis is design apartment for a young couple and a proposal dining table. The result of the work has to be room in which the two young people to live well and the dining table that is conceived in an unusual way. For interior design was needed to become familiar with individual rooms and steam requirements, choose the right colors and furniture arrangement. The proposal dining table is also associated with knowledge, not only historical, but also knowledge of requirements such as security, drawings, designs and dimensions, material. The result is a modern apartment interior design for specific partners and dining table simple lines with shelves.
