Reconstruction of a multi-storey building

The bachelor thesis is focused on the design of structural protection and structural modificati ons of a brick apartment building with massive failures. The thesis deals with the justification of the cracks in the gable wall and the overall structural securing of the building. The work inc ludes an accompanying report to the structural calculation, a technical report, a structural calculation and drawings. RFEM 5 and IdeaStatiCa were used to calculate the internal forces. The drawing documentation includes drawings of the prestressing cables, the reinforced concrete tower and the steel girder.
Determination of masonry modulus of elasticity in the direction of bed joints

The determination of strain properties of masonry in the direction parallel to bed joints is a fundamental pre-requisite for designing structures, where masonry is subjected to horizontal stresses (e. g. strengthening with prestressing). The diploma thesis summarized techniques of determination of masonry modulus of elasticity presented in available literature. The goal is to suggest suitable methodology of determination of masonry modulus in direction parallel to the bed joints. In the practical part of the diploma thesis is that methodology verified by experimental test and results of tests are analyzed and discussed.
Static reconstruction of the baroque wine cellar

The diploma thesis is focused on the design of structural support and construction modifications of a baroque wine cellar, which is part of a double-storeyed house. The first part deals with the statical analysis and structural support of a masonry barrel vault, which was loaded with a new building. The second part deals with the reconstruction of the double-storeyed object, which is in a state of disrepair with heavily developed cracks. The thesis contains a technical report, analysis of statics, drawing documentation and the work progress. The calculation of internal forces were executed by the software Scia Engineer 2017. The drawing documentation contains a formwork and reinforcement drawing, maping of cracks, leading of tensions in the walls and vault including of floor plans, sections and elevations, production plans of base plates and deviators, reinforcement drawing of concrete bond beam and finally the construction process of upper construction.
