Drama Education in Forest Kindergartens

In my thesis - Drama Education in Forest Kindergartens - I am describing the environment, philosophy and ways of the Czech forest kindergatens. I am specifying how the environment of those kindergartens influences the use of drama education - the natural space being the most influential feature. The thesis includes analysis of dramatic activities in three forest kindergartens which I visited and describtions of my own drama education projects implemented in Forest Kindergarten Pramínek (Světice, CZE): The Conference of Birds (educational project), Djiro and Four Sacred Scrolls (theatre performance), Dramatic education for forest kindergarten teachers (seminar).

The diploma thesis focuses on creation of business plan of forest kinder club establishment. The proposal takes into consideration current situation on market of children‘s preschool rising, where demand for state kindergartens excesses it‘s offer. Thesis is devided into three parts. Theoretical part focuses on basic concepts regarding to business and definiton of business plan and it’s parts. Second part describes the analysis of current situation and environment.Specific proposal for business plan including financial analysis and assesment of project’s feasibility are described in the last part of thesis.

This thesis deals with use of dramatic education in kindergarten. It compares goals, possibilities and ways of preschool education and dramatic education. The thesis offers a dramatic education project, which originates from the book of Ottfried Preussler "Little With", further on it decribes and evaluates the implementation and outcome of the project, and reflects the feelings of children, their parents and classroom teachers.
Poetry in pedagogy

This Master?s Thesis shows the personal view on a pedagocical theme which is The Poetry in pedagogy. It results from the author?s experience in this field and her idea is to link poetry and pedagogy together. The author submits that the poetry takes a very important part in preschool children?s development. Children in general have a great understanding of rhythm in rymes and it is a way of learning. The author speaks about the rhythm as an important point which should help in children?s development and creativity. The author mentions the importance of understanding of children?s world, avoiding orders and strict rules, mutual trust, partnership and helping them to feel confident. That is why she wants to apply poetry in pedagogy as one of the main points in children?s education.
The Market analysis of institutions and other possibilities for pre-school children care and education

The aim of this thesis is analysis of the market situation of pre-school education in the Czech Republic. It consists of theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part, there is a focus mainly on legislation, general overview of the educational system and description of institutions for pre-school care and education. The practical part deals with the statistic about amount of children and pre-school institutions, the current situation and outlook for the future. Finally, there are SWOT analysis for the pre-school education and advice for those thinking about doing business in this area.
Manifestation of Aggression and of social desirable Behavior in Kindergarten

This bachelor thesis investigates the manifestation of Aggression and of socialy desirable Behavior in Kindergarten. The first part outlines the basic theoretical foundations of the analysed topic. It defines the essential terms such as aggression, aggressiveness and prosocial behaviour, and proceeds to review their types, manifestations and causes. It also explains their development in connection with the developmental stages of pre-school children. Furthermore, the first part focuses on evidencing the significance of prosocial behaviour and on its presence in pre-school education. The practical part of the thesis is based on a qualitative analysis, aiming to describe and analyse situations in which the children showed aggressive or prosocial behaviour. The required data were collected using the participant observation method.
The Use of the Forest Ecosystem in Preschool Science Education.

This bachelor thesis in its theoretical part deals with environmental education and its inclusion in educational process in a nursery school. Alternative ways of education and their attitude to environmental education are shown here. Theoretical part also includes available natural science literature summary. In the practical part of the thesis there is a four-part project Forest ecosystem in natural sciences in nursery school, which was applied in practise. Research questions were asked during realisation of the project. Main aim was to detect actual level of knowledge. Results of the research are presented in charts and tables.
Educational drama and the teacher in a kindergarten

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na dramatickou výchovu, její uplatnění v mateřské škole i na samotného pedagoga. Zkoumá cesty jak, se dramatická výchova dostane k učiteli v mateřské škole, jaké metody a techniky se dají v mateřské škole využívat a co obnáší práce s dramatickou výchovou pro pedagoga. Praktická část je kombinací kvalitativního a kvantitativního výzkumu. Metodami výzkumu je dotazník pro učitele/ky mateřských škol a dále je zde popsán mnou vedený dvoudenní projekt konkrétní skupiny dětí v mateřské škole, kdy zkoumám účinnost metod a technik dramatické výchovy v praxi. Cílem práce je ukázat důležitost dramatické výchovy v mateřských školách, její nezastupitelnost v rozvoji osobnostním   i společenském.
Developing relationships between children in the nursery through the use of drama

This bachelor thesis focuses on the development of relationships between children in kindergarten using the methods of drama education. It examines whether the drama and methods of drama education can contribute and help to develop positive relationships among children. The theoretical part contains an explanation of the concept of emotion and related terms, issues, aggression and characteristic of drama education. The practical part analyze work activities with children.
