An overview of state and level of the nature conservation knowledge in members of nature and environment oriented organizations

This thesis focuses on knowledge of children aged 11-16, who have any kind of nature-focused leisure activity, regarding their awareness of nature conservation. The aim of this thesis was to define level of knowledge of children in this particular age group as well as, how the institutions they regularly attend affect their understanding of nature conservation. The respondents are pupils from primary and secondary schools, members of scout troops and other leisure facilities.

School biological excursions in the area of České středohoří

This thesis deals with the basic characteristics of the České středohoří protected landscape area and advances proposals of excursions in a three important localities of Středohoří (Bílé stráně, footpath running through reserve Lovoš and Radobýl). Proposed excursions are appointed for secondary school students and describes both the route and the activities that can be performed during these excursions. There are two global biological excursions and one excursion is botanical. This thesis includes a summary of tuitional methods and didactical rules that can be used for excursions.
