Operation of a Distillery and Related Excise Duties

The diploma thesis is devoted to the issue of excise duty on alcohol in distillery in the Czech Republic. It describes the different steps from the perspective of a legal framework, experience, and customs authority. These activities are arranged chronologically in a methodical guide for distillery and demonstrated in a model example. The diploma thesis identifies challenging area caused by the implementation of the legislation into practice and suggests solutions.

The growing and utillization potato for starch production

The present work deals with the cultivation and use of potato starch. It contains a description of the chemical and physical properties of starch with cultivation of potatoes and potato starch production technology and treatment options of starch. The paper describes the development of Starch to the current situation. Furthermore, on the economic aspects of the manufacture of starch and the realtionship between growers and processors. Finally, it describes the production of alcohol.
