The role of selected companies in work-life balance of employees, focusing on the concept of corporate social responsibility

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the role of selected companies in the area of work-life balance of employees, with a focus on the concept of corporate social responsibility. The issue of reconciliation both parts of life has recently become a topic that attracts more and more attention as there has been an incresed number of people facing struggles in this area. Therefore, in the first part of the thesis the topic of work-life balance was put into social context, subsequently into the context of public and social policy and finally also to the concept of corporate social responsibility which represents a framework through which the work-life balance issue is viewed. There are lots of actors influencing one's possibilities regarding reconciliation of work and personal life, however, employers are one of the most significant ones. The assurance of personal stability in accompanying organizations (in non-profit substitute family care organizations)

Substitute family care is a frequently mentioned topic in the Czech Republic, especially in connection with the high number of children placed in institutional facilities. Foster care, as a one of the forms of substitute family care, was registered within the amendment to the Act on Social and Legal Protection of Children No. 359/1999 Coll. It was in January 2013 and a new concept of support and definition of foster parents' rights and obligations was defined. One of these obligations is to conclude a foster care agreement either with the municipal authority of the municipality with extended powers or with a non-governmental non-profit organization which is entrusted with the exercise of social and legal protection of children and with foster care agreements. This diploma thesis focuses on the personnel activities of non-governmental non-profit organizations that accompany foster families and on the key accompanying workers themselves as well. Care of foreign players in Czech basketball

Title: Care of foreign players in Czech basketball Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to understand the difference in care for foreign players at selected clubs of the Kooperativa NBL. Methods: A qualitative research method of personal interviews is used in the practical part of the bachelor thesis. The respondents are foreign players playing for Czech teams and also the management of the club. Interviewing took place in March 2019. In total 15 interviews were conducted. Results: The outcomes of the research are processed by comparative analysis in the fifth chapter of this work. According to the results the care of foreign players differs mainly in access to foreign reinforcements. The majority of players confirmed that the terms of the contract are being respected. We have noticed that the teams in the first half of the table tend to choose experienced players while the bottom for financial reasons elects rookies. This bachelor thesis focuses on the satisfaction of employees in the selected company, namely MP Group Logistics Center, s. r. o. The work is divided into two parts. The first part of the work explains the concepts that affect employee satisfaction. The method that I carried out the practical part of the bachelor thesis is described below. The practical part describes the company that I have chosen and then the results of the questionnaire inquiry are listed. At the end of the work, these results are summarised. The outcome of the investigation was forwarded to the company management.
Social Work with People with Dementia Syndrome

This bachelor thesis focuses on social work with dementia syndrome people. The subject is social workers who work in a special regime homes in the Vysočina Region and provide their services to clients of these organizations. An important goal is to describe the specifics, possibilities and limits of social work with dementia syndrome people in the Vysočina Region. I have been searching between various organizations which u can find in the Vysočina Region and that are providing services for the clients with dementia. Within these organizations I was interested in social workers, general information about them, content and the specifics of their work, methodical and professional support, cooperation with other workers, etc. With obtained information I worked mainly in the practical part of this work. In the theoretical part, I focused on obtaining general information on dementia, from the first symptoms to the splitting up to individual types of dementia. I also received important documents from the social work area, which I could use in communication with social workers later and consequently in the processing of the practical part of the work. The practical part I created by using qualitative research in questionings method using semi-standardized interview with informants. These informants I selected based on availability. Obtained information were processed by using the open coding method, which was furthermore created as categories and subcategories, their content and the tables contained therein. I also created SWOT analysis of social work, its strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and risks. First I created a SWOT analysis for each organization separately and then for all organizations together. Issue of this work is a detailed view of the activities of social workers in special regime homes and their comparison with each other. From the results based on research, I came to the conclusion that the activities of social workers in homes with a special regime there is a match in most cases. Social workers are agree with their work description, organization rules and provided information, there are minor exceptions. An important goal of most social workers is to obtain and maintain client contact with theirs family, communication with the family, finding information about the client and helping from the family.

This bachelor thesis mainly focuses on employee care. Theoretical part provides definition of employee care and takes a closer look at issues that fall under this area. The findings from theoretical part are then used as a basis for the practical part that focuses on how MATRIX a.s. takes care of its employees. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess the system of employee care and find out whether employees are satisfied with its setting. Methods used to determine the current state of employee care in said company were a questionnaire and interviews with competent employees. The contribution of this thesis is to evaluate the findings and based on this information make some suggestions that could lead to improvement of the system of employee care and its efficiency.

Bachelor thesis is focused on analysing the care of the employees in a company XYZ. The aim is to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. To achieve the aim is used comparison of theory with practice, the survey, which is supplemented by interviews with employees, HR personnel, SWOT analysis and synthesis. Contribution of the work is finding the recommendations to improve the current system of employees care. The first part defines theoretical concepts related to employee care. These theoretical concepts are used as a basis for the practical part, which describes the current system of employees care at XYZ. At the end results are evaluated and formulated recommendations that could be beneficial to improve employee satisfaction.
Analysis of employee care in czech telecom company

The aim of the thesis is analysis of employee care in czech telecom company, evaluation of the preferences of benefits based on gender and age and propose steps to improve the current system. The theoretical part describes the various components of employee care, which are the basis for the practical part. In the practical part is the knowledge applied to a particular telecom company. A part of the analysis is a questionnaire, whose aim is to determine employee satisfaction with the system and determine the benefits that emloyees prefer. In conclusion, there is a recommendation of steps that would lead to better efficiecy and satisfaction of all employees.
