GRÁFOVÁ, Pavla
The aim of the thesis is to compare the economic efficiency of selected crops culti-vated in organic and conventional agriculture. The analysis of economic efficiency covers the period from 2019 to 2023 and focuses on winter wheat and spring oats. The thesis consists of two main parts, with one part being a literature review. Here, economic efficiency is characterized, along with the organic and conventional ag-ricultural systems. A brief description of the history of agriculture in the Czech Republic, various crop cultivation methods, and a concise list of agricultural sub-sidies are provided. The practical part deals with crop yields, individual operations in winter wheat and spring oats cultivation. Purchase prices of cultivated crops are displayed, followed by the calculation of the economic efficiency of both cultivation methods.
Economical efficiency of selected crops growing in conventional and organic farming system - case study
POKORNÁ, Kamila
The diploma thesis focused the economic efficiency of growing oat and spring barley in a conventional and organic farming system during 2018 to 2022. The thesis is divided into two parts, the literary part and the practical part. The literary part describes economic efficiency, agriculture, agricultural subsidies and selected crops. The practical part includes calculating the profitability of crops in both systems. The basic rate of profitability was determined based on the revenues, purchase prices and costs of each business. In the end, financial support in the form of subsidies to which the selected companies are entitled are added to the calculation of profitability. In addition to the calculation itself, the thesis includes the causes of the resulting difference in efficiency between the two systems.
The oat growing in terms of selected agricultural company
ZIMMERMANNOVÁ, Zlata
The aim of the dissertation thesis was to find out the influence of fungicide and increased amount of nitrogen on the yield components of oat. The dissertation is divided into a literary overview and the thesis as such. In 2018 a pilot research was made on the land of a farm located in the district of Tábor. Atego oat was grown in four variants there: a control variant, a variant fertilized by nitrogen (without the usage of fungicide), a variant comprising fungicide application (without nitrogen fertilization) and a variant including both nitrogen fertilization and fungicide application. The highest theoretical yield was registered in the variant which contained fungicide as well as nitrogen. Regarding the yield components of oat, the highest number of plants and panicles was registered in the variant fertilized by nitrogen (without the usage of fungicide); the highest number of stolons and the maximum weight of one thousand grains was measured in the variant including both nitrogen fertilization and fungicide application. Finally, the highest number of grains in a panicle was obtained from a control variant.
