SMV-2013-20: A module to measure optical frequency spectrum in the range of wavelengths 1300 – 1600 nm

We realized a development of the module to measure optical frequency spectrum in the near field infra-red range of optical spectrum. A development of the module was started with research and preparing of the set-up of the measurement of optical frequency spectrum by tuned optical filter instead of optical spectrometer. Optical filter works like the optical selective element. It is possible to measure wavelength after calibration of the filter from the known driving signal. The method was checked and optimized to using by company NWG. We optimized especially range of the measured optical frequency spectrum, resolution and speed of the measurement.
