Mobile Application for Scheduling Activities at Summer Camps
Holub, Ondřej ; Martiček, Štefan (referee) ; Češka, Milan (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to design and implement a mobile application assisting in scheduling activities at summer camps taking into account the preferences of camp participants. This is done in a way that ensures the minimization of conflicts with respect to user-defined constraints. QR code scanning is used as an effective method of data input. The main process of finding an optimal solution is formalized as a graph colouring problem and is implemented using the branch and bound method. The created system does not require any other device for its functioning, all the necessary calculations are being executed on a mobile phone of the user. This system has significantly accelerated and simplified the process of scheduling activities at summer camps.
Optimization of collection of backward collected batteries and accumulators in the framework of the Czech Republic using GIS
Kukal, Tomáš Augustin ; Matějíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Innemanová, Petra (referee)
With increasing growing the number of batteries, namely accumulators, Consequently, their take-away and a need of recyclation is increasing too. It is thus necessary to find a suitable way to their optimalization that can lead to the establishment of new waste collection machineries. This study deals with the data analysis by ECOBAT s.r.o. company, data processing and a model construction (in five different versions). The output of the diploma thesis is a model of the batteries collection enabling closer look on take-away routes, The model is based on the distances of take-away routes based on a principle of the utility areas and a role of a transport. The data are obtained from program ArcGIS 10.5 and subsequently handled in program Microsoft Excel. The outputs are the map schemes issuing from five different versions. The first one is showing the current situation, The other one is showing the version of treating units in three largest towns of the Czechia, the third one treating units in all the towns with above 100 000 inhabitants. The forth on eis showing a possibility to have a collection point in each of the county seats. The last one has the same location, but the threating units have higher capacities. The model is general, there is therefore a possibility of using it in modeling for other...

Optimization of Routes for Travel Agencies
Slavík, Radek ; Kučera, Petr (advisor) ; Křečková, Jana (referee)
Bachelor thesis deals with the optimization of the newly proposed routes for travel agency. The first part contains a literature search. This part deals with a logistics and orbital transportation problem. Circular traffic problem is explained using selected optimization methods. The second part is dedicated to the introduction of a travel agency SLAN tour for which a new tours were created. The sightseeing tours are formed and created by optimizing methods. Optimization is for two new tours that will include destinations in the Republic of Ireland. To achieve the least cost, tours were optimized by using selected methods. In conclusion, the results will be evaluated and new routes will be proposed.
Optimalization of Routes for Travel Agencies
Sieberová, Tereza ; Kučera, Petr (advisor) ; Mudrychová, Kristýna (referee)
This Bachelor thesis Optimization of Routes for Travel Agencies deals with the solution of a circular transport system problem, based on the information from a travel agency. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to a literary recherche about this issue, and basic concepts and individual methods, which can be used for optimization of routes, are explained here. The second part briefly describes a travel agency and a selected tour, which is then optimized through selected methods, in order to find a route, which ensures the lowest costs. The end of the work deals with evaluation of the result and suggesting more convenient solution of the trip.
Optimalization of Routes for Travel Agencies
Král, Filip ; Kučera, Petr (advisor) ; Mudrychová, Kristýna (referee)
The bachelor´s work devotes to solving travelling salesman problem for transport company Gumdrop s. r. o., which organizes tours to Croatia and Italy. There is a literacy research in the first part of bachelor´s work, which is focused to explanation of approximations methods. There is a short introduction of transport company in the beginning of the second part. Two foreign travelling salesman problems and one gathering route in the Czech Republic were solved for this company. The ending part interprets results, which were presented in transport company. There is their reaction also.
Operational Research at Secondary Schools
Mančíková, Táňa ; Šindelářová, Irena (advisor) ; Kuncová, Martina (referee)
Operational research is a complex of different disciplines which, due to the appliance of mathematical methods, seek for optimal solutions of complicated problems. The basics of particular disciplines or the whole subject are commonly being taught at universities in the Czech republic. The operational research curriculum was omitted from secondary education twenty years ago. This thesis deals with topics such as why and how the subject of operational research could once again be presented to secondary school students. This thesis discusses theoretical background as well as purely practical questions. That is why this thesis includes the parts of didactics and methodology of the subject. The result offers a complex perspective of a possible reimplementation of the operational research subject to secondary schools and to their students' awareness.
Methods and possibilities of operation analysis use in logistics
ERHART, Jan
Main purpose of this thesis is finding the possibilities of operation analysis methods{\crq} use in logistics, proposition of specific situation{\crq}s optimal solution in specific company, confrontation of the above with reality and proposition of possible improvements. The use of scientific methods during decision making should have been the reason of this thesis. The theoretical knowledge that has been gained from literature research has been verified in factual conditions at company CSAD JIHOTRANS, Inc. To gain the knowledge of the environment I used the consultations with company management, system studying based on provided data and collective service{\crq}s trading conditions. ABC analysis and MODI and VAM methods were used as a scientific approach. In the thesis I processed data given to me concerning shipments that had been registered in collection centers for each month of the year 2008. 6 possible alternatives evaluating the basic and also sub-optimal solutions came out from solved problems of methods VAM and MODI. Option I is the most suitable from the point of optimization standard {--} minimal value of special-purpose function. Option VI will be the most suitable if I proceed from the current system functioning. But option VI satisfies the optimization standard the least. Therefore I suggest shifting the original pick-ups S5 into the competence of S2 and then to place it in between the 8 regional centers that are connected by the central trucktransport.
Exercise of operational analysis methods in transport optimalization
KUČEROVÁ, Lucie
In my dissertation I use mathematical simulation of the transport situation for proposal the optimal routing between suppliers and customers. Target of my work is to propose optimal wagon stock.
