Design of a bath on the device for testing human joints
Svoboda, Tomáš ; Vrbka, Martin (referee) ; Čípek, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of the bathtub of an experimental device for testing human joints. Tribometer is used for experimental measurement of friction and visualization of real cartilage film in flooded synovial fluid. The result of this work is the design of air releasing, heating and sealing the bathtub in which the synovial fluid is located. By removing air bubbles and heating the liquid to the temperature of the human body, more accurate shear coefficient values and improved contact visualization are achieved. This should lead to a better understanding of the friction and lubrication processes in the synovial joint. The result of this work is chosen optimal design variant and production drawing documentation.
Optimization of the vacuum deaeration of the injection mold
Rohlínková, Marie ; Kebrle, Ondřej (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
The project elaborated design of optimization venting of molds exhibiting bubbles or low quality weld lines. Based on a literature study of the injection mold venting, the use of vacuum venting, namely the VACUUMJET system of the Spanish CUMSA manufacturer, has been proposed. The experiments proved the elimination of bubbles in the part and the marked improvement of visual quality of the weld lines. The effect on the closing force was not confirmed. The use of the system is more economical for larger batches production, or when high quality parts are required that allow price increasing.
Production technology flexible plastic clip
Mikulenka, Martin ; Kebrle, Ondřej (referee) ; Kandus, Bohumil (advisor)
Currently, the plastics industry has a wide range of applications due to the possibility of a fully automated process or through increased production efficiencies. The reason for this choice of the thesis was to understand the whole issue of plastic injection molding process. The specified component is used to atach the sail, which serves to protect workers in the welding sector. A specified number of the series is 350 000. The work includes a theoretical problem of injection molding process, selection of technology, material selection and design of mold. An integral part of every design mold is a simulation of injection, which is also included. In conclusion of thesis is the calculation of the various stages of production and operation of the injection mold.
