Occupational therapy interventions for pediatric patients with the epidermolysis bullosa congenita

The aim of the thesis is to describe possibilities of occupational therapy interventions for pe- diatric patients with the Epidermolysis bullosa congenita. The theoretical part includes the issue of Epidermolysis bullosa congenita including current diagnostics and therapy in the Czech republic. This part also desribes the possibilities of occupational therapy diagnostics and intervention. The practical part includes firstly the translation of the questionnaire "Parental Questionnaire on Coping Skills of Children with EB in Everyday Life" into Czech langugage, secondly case report of a pedi- atric patient with Epidermolysis bullosa congenita and thirdly occupational therapy intervention ma- nual for children with EB. So far, the occupational therapist is not a common part of the multidisci- plinary EB treatment team, although his scope is broad and can significantly improve quality of life.
