Hodnocení koeficientu pro určení průměru kmene z pařezu u vybraných dřevin

This study aims to determine the appropriate conversion coefficient for calculating the trunk diameter at breast height from the stump. A total of 1,150 trees of five different species - small-leaved linden, large-leaved linden, silver birch, Scots pine, and black pine - were measured and evaluated. The tree girth was measured at 20, 30, and 130 cm above ground level, and their physiological vitality and health status were assessed. Conversion coefficient was determined for stump heights of 20 and 30 cm, as well as for individual tree species.

The bachelor thesis analyses the current state of the woody plants at the grounds of Hamza Specialist Sanatorium at Luže-Košumberk, and suggests their treatment. More than 200 specimen of the tree TIlia L. and Fagus L. were scrutinised for the purpose of this thesis; all the basic dendrometrial measurements were taken for each one of the trees, their physiological age was determined, as well as their vitality and state of health. Individual treatment was devised for particular trees, and their price was evaluated.

This work deals with collecting updated information about fruit trees and their occurance. Details from this work are collected via database of Nature Conservation Agency of the Czech Republic. Update of 15 specific fruit trees is contained in this work, focusing on the Age of the trees, circumference of their stem, and for how long they had status of Memorable tree. The chapter "Results" contains recent measurements and photo documentation to this date, spring 2017.
