Analýza parametrů a perspektiv užití nemechanizovaných a mechanizovaných technologických postupů v procesu obnovy lesa na lesním majetku Dřevo Střílky s.r.o.

This diploma thesis discusses the analysis of parameters and perspectives of the use of non-mechanized and mechanized technological procedures in the process of forest restoration on the forest property of Dřevo Střílky s.r.o. As part of the diploma thesis, 25 locations owned and managed by Dřevo Střílky s.r.o. were selected. At these locations, the following parameters were determined: altitude and slope, height of left stumps, method of processing the brushwood, method of afforestation, selection of tree species when planting, measurement of height and growth of seedlings, sapling clamps, loss of seedlings, weed species. The aim of this thesis is to create a critical research of non-mechanized and mechanized technological procedures in the process of forest restoration in the country.
Návrh obnovy lesa v oblasti chřadnutí lesních dřevin

The main aim of the bachelor’s thesis was to find out in what way and in what extent the process of the withering of spruce cover goes on in the area of Lhotka u Zlína, and to propose the change of composition of tree species together with its distribution in space (monoculture, polyculture), depending on the state of the forest stands. The method of forest regeneration, treatment, and the protection against biotic pests of the forest plantations was planned, till the time of provision. Proposals for the forest regeneration also include layout of transplants. The work also includes calculation of direct economic costs of the proposed methods and attachments including a map of the target area of LHC and photo documentation. The outcome of the project will be greater representation of a deciduous woody species and diversity in tree species composition. The spruce will be replaced by douglas-fir. In the future, there will be an intention to regeneration via shelterwood cutting in this area.

Watercourses cross our landscape and they are indispensable part of it as part of water cycle. Watercourse and its accompanying vegetation constitute a functional element of the landscape. In The thesis summarizes information from available domestic and foreign literature sources in the literature review. It describes the characteristics of watercourses, banks and accompanying vegetation, its features and principles of a restoration and care. Possibilities of a biological and biotechnical stabilization of banks are also mentioned. This information has been applied in the design of reconstruction of accompanying vegetation of watercourse. 850 meters long stretch of Mohelka River in northern Bohemia was selected as a model object. On the stretch analyzes of vegetation and banks were carried out. The design of silvicultural measures, new plantings and banks stabilizations was based on these analyzes. The care plan was also designed. For all the designed measures the costing was made.
Obnovní experiment na kalamitní holině - Rakovec I (ŠLP Křtiny)

The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the success and cost evaluation experiment of regeneration of forest in the area named Rakovec I (ŠLP) For this purpose, was established 5 different types of forest regeneration on the clearing area on an area of 0.15 hectares. This area was formed after the wind calamity in mostly unoriginal spruce forest. Monitoring was conducted on this area from spring 2013 to autumn 2015. The "A" variant simulates re-growth using sowing of an alder (Alnus glutinosa (L.) Gaertn) into a manually pre-prepared soil. The variant "B" represents the re-growth of forest by using a broadcast sowing of a birch (Betula pendula Roth.). The variant "C" represents the re-growth through sowing an alder (Alnus glutinosa (L.) Gaertn) and a birch (Betula pendula Roth.), into a mechanickly pre-prepared soil. The variants "D" and "E" simulate re-growth using bare root plant, planted by dibble level planting. For the variant "D" is selected a tree species alder (Alnus glutinosa (L.) Gaertn), and for the variant "E" isselected a spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karsten). According to an economic standpoint it is the least expensive a variant "B" (13,508.37 CZK/ha), in which is the only expense the purchase of seeds and subsequent sowing. Conversely, the most expensive variant is a variant of "E" (81,270 CZK/ha). Highest success of forest regeneration is a variant of "D", when from a total count of 93 pieces of seedlings in the autumn of 2015 was on the area a count of 90 pieces of viable individualsThe lowest succed of forest regeneration is in the variant "C", in which was found in the autumn of 2014 only 22 pieces of viable individuals on an area of 0.021 hectares.

This diploma thesis describes the project of watercourse bank vegetation restoration. It is also focused on the recreation potential of the watercourse. Introductory chapters are dealing with general issues of watercourses, bank vegetation, abrasion protection and related legislation. As a sample river for the purpose of the research was selected the small river "Lutoninka", flowing through the Zádveřice village, situated near Zlín. For this particular watercourse was worked out the project of vegetation factors reconstruction. The project is accompanied by a proposal that takes into account landscaped and recreational potential of the area.
