Aleje a jejich role v krajině - stav a perspektivy
Thiel, Marek
This diploma thesis consists of two parts. The first, theoretical part, deals with the problematics of tree alleys and tree avenues in the countryside, and it also defines elementary concepts necessary to handle such problematics. Furthermore, the theoretical part seeks to handle the risks connected with tree alley localization and consecutive analysis of already existing data about the tree alleys. The second, practical part, deals with analysis of tree valleys in three municipalities with extended powers in the South Moravian region of the Czech Republic and its geographical foundation, which are based on these territories. Additionally, this part includes analyses of tree valleys and avenues located near various types of roads and also within non-urban and urban areas. Further on, the next goal was to create a specific plan of administration and renewal of tree alleys and avenues. Finally, the status and perspectives of tree alleys in the Czech landscape has been measured and rated. Overall, the analysis included 597 elements, 242 out of which were tree alleys, and 355 were tree avenues. Most of the studied valleys and avenues were located along local pathways and 3rd degree roads. The status of tree valleys and avenues in the urban areas has revealed itself to be better than of those which were located in the non-urban areas.

This bachelor thesis deals with the problematics of rural tree avenues and alleys. The primary goal of the thesis is to map and inventorize said tree avenues and alleys and further consider their status, as given by „Metodiky mapování alejí 2015 (Dušek a Klemensová, 2015) in a chosen area of an administrative sector in the Znojmo district. The results of the mapping shall serve to create a database of tree alleys and avenues in the Znojmo district. The secondary goal of the thesis was an analysis of the current tree avenues and alleys as compared with historical background. The final task was to assess the status and future perspective of the alleys of the Czech countryside. Altogether, 71 elements of the chosen area were mapped, 39 out of which were tree alleys, and 32 were tree avenues. From the woody species, fruit trees were the most frequently represented group. The health condition of the woody species has been, on average, measured to be grade 2, or Good.
