Deployment of Czech and Slovak armed forces in the UNPROFOR mission

The bachelor thesis aims to analyze the participation of Czechoslovak and later Czech and Slovak units operating in the territory of former Yugoslavia within the UNPROFOR mission. The core goal si to compare a contribution of separated units after the breakup of Czechoslovakia occurred. The research focuses on contribution in fulfillment of UNPROFOR sub-goals, because of there are not reliable benchmarks for measuring success of particular missions's segmants. Attitude of Main Serbian Political Parties to the Nationalist Question in the Second and Third Yugoslavia

This theses deals with the research on the development of attitude of main Serbian political parties to the nationalist question and Serbian nationalist program. Results of this research reveal how in the past quarter century changed the attitude of the Serbian parliamentary parties on the Serbian national question, depending on the key milestones of development (origins and development of multi-party system, the war in the early 90s; escalation of the Kosovo crisis). Among others things theses deals with differences between the declared programs and principles and the real party politics. During the research were also analyzed programming and factual modifications of attitude to the mentioned issues for the following parties: Socialist Party of Serbia, Democratic Party, Serbian Renewal Movement, Serbian Radical Party, Democratic Party of Serbia and the Citizens Union of Serbia. Heuristically work is primarly based on published sources: the relevant programs; resolutions of the party congresses and conferences; speeches of key representatives of the ementioned parties.

Reflection on the brakeup of Yugoslavia in the present Srbian society

This theses deals with the research on the brakeup of Yugoslavia and its reflection in the contemporary Serbian society. Results of this research reveal how the citizens of Serbia evaluate the key events of modern Serbian (Yugoslavian) history after twenty years from the brakeup of SFRY and thirteen years from the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. The theses focuses mainly on the course of events after the death of J. B. Tito, the brakeup of SFRY and the following conflicts, the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia and the gradual integration of Serbia into the EU. The research was carried out in Belgrade, Nis and Novi Sad. The main method of heuristic research was the sociological survay conducted in the form of questionnaires. In the survay participate predominantly persons with high education devided for the purpuse of the survay according to sex and age.
