Early Intervention as a Complex Rehabilitation Program in the Arpida, o. s. Centre

This bachelor thesis deals with a social service of early intervention provided by the non-governmental non-profit organization, Arpida, o.s. Centre. The institution offers assistance for families, in which a child was born with disability, adolescents and young adults with physical or combined disability. In the theoretical part of the thesis I am concerned with an issue when a born child with a disability brings unexpected difficulties to the family. Further I describe the realization of the early intervention service in a global context, but I primarily focus on specifics of the early intervention in the Czech Republic. A fundamental part of literary search deals with the early intervention provided by the Arpida, o.s. Centre with means of a complex rehabilitation program. Its purpose is foreshadowed; to improve a state and a function of the whole family. It is also pointed out on an open future for these children, who have there an opportunity to take use of the following care and education. I introduce the difference of the early intervention provided by this institution against another organizer, The Centre for an early intervention. The work in the field of assisting professions is a formidable task and therefore I am concerned also with possible risks, which can occur during the work. The aim of the investigative section is to enter the lives of the early intervention clients. Try to understand their feelings and needs, which they obtained during the use of the service. To secure the highest quality of the service, it is important to focus on the employees too. Since they also bring a valuable insight into the issue. This combination of views of clients and providers helps us capture the situation in all its complexity and it does not take into consideration only one side, which is involved in this process.The research brings a complete image of the early intervention. It shows points appropriate to focus in order to achieve the highest quality of the service. In the investigative part is applied qualitative research. I selected questioning as a method of retrieving data, more precisely the technique of semi standardized interviews. These interviews were further studied. They were used for evaluating dependence of quality of the service on critical signs by means of the method of the Quality Function Deployment. The results of the research showed the percentage of critical signs depending on the quality of the service.

Application of elements of drama education in leisure activities in the centres, clubs and similar facilities for mothers with young children.

The purpose of my bachelor?s thesis is to find out how drama education elements in the course ?Practice of parents and children aged 1-2 years? are applied. The theoretical part is focused on the possibility of using drama in education in pedagogy of free time. Pedagogy of leisure time and drama education is further described and their methods and main objectives are mentioned. The practical part is focused on the maternity center ?VICTORY mum?s and kid?s community?, which gave me the opportunity to participate in the interest and physical education class ?Practice of parents and children aged 1-2 years?. The conclusion describes how the elements of drama in education are used in the leisure time activities offered by maternity center ?VICTORY mum?s and kid?s community?.

Důsledky zákona č. 108/2006 Sb. o sociálních službách v péči o klienty centra ARPIDA, o.s.

The purpose of this bachelor work was to chart the consequences of the Act No. 108/2006 of Collection of Laws on social services from the perspective of daily clients of ARPIDA Centre in České Budějovice. Regarding the fact I have been working in social services of ARPIDA Centre already from 2002 year, I can immediately observe an influence or eventually an improvement of clients´ possibilities to utilize social services of the establishment. A theoretical part of the work deals with a history of the genesis and basic characteristics of the Act No. 108/2006 of Collection of Laws. Further it devotes to problems of the care contribution. A component of the theoretical part of this work is also a presentation of ARPIDA Centre and all its registered social services which this organization provides to clients with physical as well as combined handicaps at the age from 3 to 26 years. It concerns those social services {--} Personal Assistance, Social Welfare Institution, Early Care, Social Rehabilitation and Social-therapeutical Workshops. The practical part of the work has been a result of an anonymous elaboration of an enquiry investigation and it provides complete information on consequences and changes brought by the Act on social services to daily clients of ARPIDA Centre. It makes a detail inquiry over the availability and range of social service offers for daily clients of ARPIDA Centre. Based on acquired data it evaluates clients´ opinions of the Act No. 108/2006 of Collection of Laws on social services, especially their view concerning the care contribution. Conclusions of this bachelor work should support as a feedback for the workers in ARPIDA Centre and that way also to achieve a significant improvement of the quality and enlargement of social service offers provided in České Budějovice.
