The issue of motivation of professional soldiers

The bachelor thesis deals with problems of motivation of professional soldiers after the Bill amending Act no. 221/1999 Coll., on Professional Soldiers (the "amendment"). The amendment introduces significant changes to the remuneration system of professional soldiers and career management tools. The aim of the thesis is to identify the effects on the motivation of soldiers from a legislative perspective, specifically after the amendment. The results of the analysis led to recommendations which include possible changes in the system of remuneration and career development tools established by the amendment. The system should try to eliminate job dissatisfaction of professional soldiers and reduce leaving of the qualified professional soldiers from the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic.
