Unemployment, outplacement, how to find a new job.

This thesis deals with the topic of unemployment. It describes the concept of unemployment, its division, development, etc. It also deals with the dismissals of employees and with the search for new employment. It focuses on vulnerable groups of unemployed people aged 50 +. Generally, it also deals with the concept of outplacement and its asset for participants. The last section gives practical advice on job seeking and finding. This is the content of theoretical part of this thesis. Practical part, by means of a questionnaire method, deals with the probing of unemployed people aged 50 + after loss of their job.
Unemployment as a psychosocial problem for persons with a reduced working ability

At present, the concept of the reduced working ability has not been already used due to a change of the Employment Act No. 435/2004 Coll. A new concept is being introduced ? a person with disabilities, which include persons receiving a disability pension and persons who are handicapped. This thesis is devoted to the concept of the unemployment, its definition and kinds. The other chapter defines a target group of people presented in the title of the thesis. The following part speaks about possibilities to use the protected labour market, but as well as offers of various organizations in the common labour market. Everything is related to people who have some medical problem and it is more difficult for them to seek a suitable job. It is important to note, that the unemployment is associated with various problems. They are both psychic and social. Therefore there is a part about the importance of the work for a man included in the thesis, followed by chapters on possible responses to a job loss and health risks associated with this life event. An aim of the practical part is a comparison of an impact of the psychosocial effects of the unemployment at intact individuals with individuals with disabilities. A method of a qualitative research was used to achieve this goal, a form of a depth semi-structured interview. A crucial age for a choice of respondents was between 20 - 45 years and their registration at Labour Office for at least six months. The research showed that the observed people in my group did not differ significantly in the psychosocial effect of the unemployment. It is because their psyche has been influenced by a good family background, friends and an adequately spent leisure time.
The execution of the "Assistance in Material Need Act" among debtors in the Kaplice region

This bachelor thesis is aimed at fulfilment of the Act on Assistance in Material Need and its impact on insolvency of people from Kaplicko region. The theoretical part is aimed at reasons and consequences of the clients" insolvency and at general characteristics of subjects from which people can borrow in case of the lack of financial means. The practical part is analyzing how long are clients receiving material need allowances and consequently is analyzing their current insolvency as well as the reason and from who these people are borrowing the financial means. The purpose of this work was to find out the general insolvency of clients receiving the material need allowances from Kaplicko region. A fractional purpose was then to analyze possibly reasons and reciprocal impact on arisen formidable life situation.
Employment subvention of visually impaired persons in České Budějovice

The work pursues the employment subvention of visually impaired persons. The theoretical section classifies a visually impaired person, it deals with the education system, employment of visually impaired persons problems and legal regulations. The practical section investigates with forms and ways the employment subvention is offered to visually impaired persons and how the workers of organisations are good at employment of visually impaired persons problems and their opinion about it. The results reflect poor employment subvention of visually impaired persons and ignorance by the workers in the employment sphere in České Budějovice.
Efficiency of vocational retraining for long term unemployed job-seekers

Unemployment is a long term problem of the present society. For many people, finding a new job is complicated because of some kind of handicap. Such handicaps include age, gender, lack of qualification, or even belonging to certain minority group. In these cases, people remain unemployed for a longer time, which leads to further devaluation of the human capital. Employment offices try to help their job-seekers using active employment policy instruments. This paper is then focused on the vocational retraining instrument in relation to long term unemployed. The objective of the paper is to establish efficiency of vocational retraining and the factors that influence it. The technique of secondary analysis of public documents of the Employment Office in Písek for the period 2005 through 2010 was chosen for the performance of the research. The research has shown that short-term unemployed having secondary education with school-leaving examination (SSLC) and younger age groups (up to 30 years of age) are more often placed in vocational retraining. On the contrary, members of the group of job-seekers with low ? primary education and/or aged over 50 is very rarely placed in vocational retraining. Yet lack of qualification and higher age are risk factors for long term unemployment origination. If these two factors are joined also with very long unemployment (over 1 year), there is a minimum chance to participate in vocational retraining. The positive effects of vocational retraining for long term unemployed include that they have large chance of placement in the labour market within 6 months. Selection for vocational retraining is performed on the basis of cooperation of the labour provision consultant with the job-seeker. Unfortunately, there is noticeable tendency to select rather the less problematic and better motivated job-seekers. Consequently, the approach to clients should change and those who really need help should be targeted.
Analysis of the entry of the foreign company by the direct investment in the region

This thesis aims to analyse the impacts of the entry of the direct foreign investment of Futaba Czech s. r. o. on Havlíčkův Brod region. The introductory part contains a list of the sources reporting on the company{\crq}s investment decisions. Various aspects concerning the localization factors are included as well. Next part focuses on examining Futaba Czech s. r. o. in particular but also partly on Sklo Bohemi, a. s. and Pleas, a. s. They represent the three largest companies in Havlíčkův Brod region. The main aim of the author of the work was to find out how these three companies influence each other, even though each of them is interested in a different branch of industry. The following hypotheses are examined in the thesis: 1) Funding of FCZ by short-term credits indicates an existence of the significant insecurity, which can cause some doubts about company{\crq}s ability to continue to work according to principle based on continuation unlimited by time. 2) Benefit of the direct foreign investment of Futaba for the region is substantial at the present time and the impacts on the social environment are considerable as well. 3) Termination of operations of the company Sklo Bohemia, a. s. has influenced the social conditions of Havlíčkův Brod region significantly and it has had an influence on the operation of the companies Futaba Czech s. r. o. and Pleas, a. s. All three hypotheses have been verified in the thesis. The last part of the work gives the report of the evaluation of the hypotheses in question and a supposition, that the examined company might leave Czech market, because the results of its management are getting worse, is expressed.
Employment Policy

The title of my diploma paper is summing up of state employment policy in the Czech Republic, on the current applicable legislation. And it take into account the active employment policy and passive employment policy. The purpose of the paper is to create a compact image of labour market in the Czech Republic. This paper chart unemployment in southern Bohemia, in the Písek region gives to understand that authoress will occupy with the unemployment problems of the Písek region. My survey is based on the data from Labour Market Situation Report from several Bureaus of Labour, data from Czech Statistic Office and Ministry of Labour and Social Issues. The practical part of the theses covers the situation on the labor market in Písek region. The second part of this thesis includes a possible solution for solving unemployment, active employment policy and passive employment policy. This is a sample illustration creation of project design which concentrates on employment support by means of a new requalification program for long-term unemployed people, in the concrete this employment policy of the Písek employment bureau. This one project, the function and principles of the regional and structural politics of the European Union, financed of European Social Fund.

?The groups threatened by unemployment and the use of the alternative posibilities of employment? is aimed at the persons on the labour market which are in the group of people marked as a risk group. The first part of my bachelor essay defines sorts and reasons of unemployment. The particular risk groups of employees on our labour market are introduced here. The second part is aimed at the ways how to solve the problem of employment of those groups ? alternative working processes and those who help with mediation. In other parts of my essay it is shown whether the alternative working processes can help to employ more people in the risk groups. This is the main aim of my essay. Two questionnaires are in the last part of my work and description of their results.

This bachelor thesis monitors developement of selected element South Bohemia´s real ecomonics. The accent is laying on describe this problems, statistical investigation and explication of results. The main objective of this bachelor thesis is using our results for predication of developement South Bohemia´s real economics with possibility to aplication our results for developement of particular sectors of regional economics. The secondary objective is confronting our regioanl results with results from statistical survey in national context. The subobjective is tendency about opening discussion in this thesis among economics experts and amateur public. The subobjective is very important in this time, when we are founding in global economics recession. We want to public our results in media and on internet professional website.
Social co-operative of Municipalities/Microregion as Tool to Solve Regional Needs and Unemployment of Handicaped Citizens

Social co-operatives, as a form of entrepreneurship, may help to solve regional problems as well as unemployment in municipalities or microregions. Although the priority of these co-operatives is to help people, it is also important for them to be fully independent of financial subsidies and to manage to survive in the market. This problem is insurmountable in many cases; therefore the development of social entrepreneurship is not so extensive in the Czech Republic.
