This bachelor thesis is focused on designing security measures, particularly on designing cryptography on enterprise´s network attached storage. The theoretic part describes basic concepts and information concerning cryptography, data and network attached storages. The analytic part analyses the enterprise´s current state focusing on saving data in a specific enterprise. The practical part is focused on selection of an appropriate software cryptographic tool, organizational instructions and other requisites connected with implementation of security measures in an enterprise.

The Bachelor thesis deals with the using NAS servers for backuping data in the company Lesy hlavního města Prahy. The thesis describes single security methods of protecting data against losing and improving own protection. Next parts are specialized in single types of disk connections. The last theory part is focused on price NAS categories and their using in companies depending on their size. In the practical part of Bachelor thesis, I analyzed current net state in the company, where I had worked, and described the improvements that had been done.

Building and use of small computer networks

This work deals with design of home computer network. It is divided on theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is written about technologies used in practical part name-ly computer networks, topologies, active and passive elements, RAID arrays, network at-tached storage and wireless technology. The practical part is further divided to four sub-parts. First deals witch description of current state of rebuilding network. It involves meas-uring of speeds and pointing out of it's shortcomings. The second sub-part is about plan-ning new state of network and choosing new components. The third sub-part deals with installing and configuring components. The last sub-part is testing of the new state. The end of this work is dedicated to evaluation of rebuilding process and fulfilment of de-manded goals.
