The most common last name in Zubcice

Abstract This theoretic bachelor thesis is charting development of surnames in South Bohemian village Zubčice. Data were gained by transcribing archives through the National district archive in Český Krumlov. There were also found historical circumstances of development of the most common surnames by using questionnaires and interviews. This bachelor thesis is comparing surnames of Zubčice inhabitants both in the presence and one hundred and twenty years ago, the most common surnames in Zubčice and in the Czech republic and surnames of students visiting local school both in the presence and one hundred years ago. Numerous surnames are analysed by scientific publications.
