The ceilings are designed as cast-in-place reinforced concrete structures. The house is insulated with the ETICS and covered with a flat roof. There is a shelter at the northwest corner of the house. A covered entrance on the north side, leads to the first floor. There is a hallway with storage space, utility room, WC, corridor with a staircase, bedroom, kitchen and a living room which opens on to the south terrace. On the second floor there are the privet rooms of the household members. This includes two bedrooms facing south, a bedroom with a private bathroom and a separate bathroom. All rooms are accessible from the corridor. The part of the bachelor thesis dealing with the technical facilities of the buildings focuses mainly on the design of the air conditioning system. The building is ventilated by an HVAC unit with heat recovery. Furthermore, this part focuses on the conceptual design of the heating system, rainwater management, sewage disposal and the design of the electrical installations, which adress the use of renewable energy sources. An energy performance certificate is also included.
