The aim of the diploma thesis is an analysis of the current situation of the system of quality costs management in the chosen company and propose suggestions to improve this system. For my diploma thesis I have chosen company Ging, s.r.o. The theoretical part contains basic information about quality, quality management, management concepts and quality costs. The practical part is primarily focused on the quality costs including the implementation and maintenance of quality management.

The quality of products is the biggest competitive advantage that a company can achieve. The definition states that quality is the degree of compliance requirement with a set of inherent characteristics. The importance of quality have very increased in recent years - quality is a decisive factor for stable economic growth of enterprises, management quality is the most important protective factor of the loss of markets, quality is a major source of saving materials and energy, the quality affects of macroeconomic indicators, the quality is a limiting factor for the sustainable development , quality and consumer protection are connected vessels. Quality costs are the total costs incurred by producers, users and companies associated with the quality of the product.

Řízení a management kvality ve vybrané organizaci

This diploma thesis called Quality Management In The Selected Company is focused on quality management system, its oganisation, management and development. The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse chosen areas of implemented quality management system in the selected company, to identify bottlenecks and to suggest changes and to propose recommendations for achieving better results in this area. The analysed company is called EBAS spol. s r.o. which focuses on metal and wood production. The theoretical review is dedicated to the issue of quality management, starting with term and concept of quality and quality management, followed by identification of advantages and importance of quality management system. Certain attention is paid to quality management processes, and last but not least, costs of quality and documentation in quality management system. The practical part of the diploma thesis begins with the company in general, especially with company history, its activities, portfolio and organization structure, followed by the analysis of selected areas of current quality mangement system applied in the company. The analysis includes the analysis of processes of the quality management system, documentation of QMS, quality goals and politics, supplier rating system and at last but not least, customer satisfaction monitoring system. Based on this analysis there are several reccomendations proposed, which should lead not only to increased quality management system efficiency, but also to increased efficiency of company in general.

Process analysis of nonconforming products

Main goal of thesis is process analysis of nonconforming products and implementation of the corrective actions which will improve current status. Theoretical part presents history of quality, modern methods in quality, process of nonconforming products, preventive methods used in car industry and also the costs of quality. Practical part presents process analysis of nonconforming products in concrete company and main focus is implementation of the corrective actions. Main point regarding the improvement is upgrading detection system. Upgrade was made on concrete product, which represented huge quality extracosts.

This master´s thesis is focused on efficient control of quality economy in an international company operating in the Czech Republic. It relates to standard and modern concept of quality economy management and theoretical basis of cost management related to quality. The purpose of this thesis is to define, choose and implement the best model of monitoring quality related costs. As a part of the implementation phase of the chosen model, project plan including risk analyses which belongs to individual project's phases will be created, cost related actions defined and in the next phase evaluated and optimized.

The aim of the "Quality management system in the selected company" dissertation work is an analysis of the current situation of the quality management system in a company and make suggestions to improve the current system. For my dissertation work I have chosen engineering company Motorpal, a. s., which is the engineering company and the one of the leading producers of devices for diesel engines to tractors, ships and construction machine.The work consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The first part describes terms like quality, importance of quality, factors that affect quality, management principles of quality, economy of quality, quality in pre-production stages, quality planning and quality control tools. The second part is primarily focused on the quality costs, which is the most problematic part of the quality management in the company. In this part of the dissertation work is also briefly described the company and its history, company's production program and customers and company's financial situation, processes and quality management system.

The quality costs of the manufacturer is divided into four basic groups: the costs of prevention, assessment, costs of external defects and internal defects.

The quality management in the chosen company

The quality, providing the right comprehension of the meaning, is the key factor of any successful company. There are a few reasons why companies are more and more interested in quality. In the nowadays oversaturated markets the quality could be perceived as a competitive advantage. Modern-day client is choosy and don{\crq}t put up with anything ordinary. Clients´ sensibility to the level of quality of the products is constantly raising. Including the factor of quality to the goals of the company decrease costs, for example repairs costs, and increase revenues, for example revenues from increasing market share. The quality of goods and services is also required by law, for example protection of rights available to consumer. This bachelor work is focused on a quality management of the given company STAVCENT a.s.. The company was established in 1992 and became a construction company that attend to the complex solutions and executions of industry, civil and housing units in the South Bohemia. STAVCENT a.s. is linked to the longstanding tradition, comming into being in 1950 with formating of municipal construction companies, in the field of construction and service of buildings. The company is aware of increasing stress on the required quality of goods and services. In 2006, with a view of gaining a competitive advantage, the quality management system was instituted . This system is inovated and maintained. Thanks to certification of tree systems of quality the company gained ,, Golden certificate{\crqq}. STAVCENT a.s. can be proud of cerficates - ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. As it was derived from the analysis of the quality management of the given company, the level of the quality management is high. In evidence of the high level there is a certificate ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001. The company carry on increasing of the level of the quality of provided services because this is the main way of acquiring new clients and maintain the old ones.
