	Zhodnocení využitelnosti specifických vlastností jezevčíků v současné myslivecké praxi Dufková, Soňa My thesis focuses on the dachshund breed, especially Standard Wire-haired dachshund and its applicability in modern hunting practices. This paper evaluates the changes in the use of hunting dogs in the hunting practice in recent decades. It describes the history of the breed, description, its breeding in the Czech Republic and hunting properties. During the elaboration of this thesis it was found how much is dachshund used in the current practice on the basis of test results and their popularity at hunters. Test results were further compared with other terrier breeds. Finally, the thesis was concerned with the analysis of the current situation in the diseases of joints and spine of dachshunds in the country. Finally all the results were analysed and based on them it was suggested how to use dachshunds for hunting practice. Detailed record
