Possibilities of Using the Motor Test (MABC - 2) in Students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder

The main aim of this thesis is to find out if it is possible to use diagnostic tool called Motor Test for children MABC-2 for finding out motor level at people with Autistic Spectre Disorder, specifically at the group of children beween age 7-10. Children between the age 7-10 with diagnosis ASD are a target group. The next aim is to find out suitable way of distribution at this age group. There is also a question connected with this aim if it is alternatively needed to secure certain moficistions of test batery which would help to increase quality of results at people with Autistic Spectre Disorder. Possible modifications could be a subject of next researches. Theoretical part is dedicated mostly to Autistic Spectre Disorder and the description of particular types which fall into this group. Next crucial topic is a description of gross and fine motor skills and development of motor skills in connection with the age.In the following part there is at first description of used test battery MABC-2,then there is a chapter aimed at qualitative method of research,specifially case study which was used for gaining neccesary information. Practical part is aimed at casuistry of chosen children together with exact description of testing. From research emerged that it is possible to use diagnostic tool MABC-2 at children with ASD at the age group between age 7-10. However, it is neccesary to aim at suitable way of distribution to keep sufficient attention and certain motivation at these children.
