Kyselina kávová jako nový fluorescenční marker kvality nápojů

The work was focused on the study of the photochemical behaviour of caffeic acid (KK) with focus on the evaluation of quality of beverages. This organic acid is found in various beverages of natural origin, such as grape wines, juices, or teas. KK shows a very interesting photochemical behaviour, which is influenced by the environment in which it is found. If the quality of drinks changes, for example from the point of view of punching, the concentration of KK and the reaction conditions will naturally change as well. If such samples are exposed to UV radiation (starting photochemical reactions) and then is recorded fluorescence, which can be used to distinguish the sample from each other. Due to the complexity of this issue, this work is divided into two parts. The first (overview) part of this work contains important information about KK from different perspectives (occurrence, metabolism, effects etc.). The second (practical) part this work focused on fluorescence monitoring of KK standard under different conditions after UV irradiation (effect of UV exposure time, effect of pH of the environment and effect of phosphate buffer concentration). Based on the results, it was clearly demonstrated that the fluorescence properties of KK (photochemical behaviour) are strictly dependent on the pH, UV radiation time, the concentration of KK used and the chemical composition of the drink. These results suggest that KK can be considered as a fluorescent marker of beverage quality. To test this hypothesis will need to be analysed a larger number of real samples and statistically evaluated.
Radioactive medicinal springs in the Skalná - Bad Brambach area

Radiohydrochemical exploration took place in east part of the "smrčinský" pluton between "Skalná-Plesná-Bad Brambach in years 2016-2018. The main aim of the exploration was location and thorough research of possible occurrence of waters with radioactive concretation higher than 1500 Bq/l. That is a value for radioactive mineral waters given by the "lázeňským" law number 164/2001 Sb. Most important area is Plesná-south where was discovered several springs with values exceeding 5000 Bq/l. Eminent spring is called "Břetislav-Radonka" and lies one kilometre southwest from the train station Plesná-Šneky with an activity of about 12.5 kBq / l 222 Rn and a flow rate of about 2.5 l / min. It is the most active surface discharge of radon mineral water in the Czech Republic Another significant source area is north of Skalna - north. These springs were discovered almost 60 years ago, Dr. Marie Zukriegelová. The main source of this area was named after its discoverer - the "Marie Z" spring with an activity of 5800 Bq / l 222 Rn.Further the research focused on historical radioactive conduit which were used to supply village Skalné with water. Determination of Lithium in Mineral Waters Using Electrophoresis in Short Capillary.

The aim of this study was determination of lithium ion concentration in mineral waters "Vincentka" and "Bílinská kyselka" using capillary electrophoresis with contactless conductivity detection. A specialized laboratory-made apparatus designed for separations in short capillaries was first tested for separation of model solution of common inorganic cations and then for analysis of mineral water samples. Lithium ion concentration was determined using method of standard addition. The results obtained were compared with those obtained from atomic absorption and emission spectroscopy; standard addition method as well as the method of calibration graph were used in spectroscopic methods. A good agreement was obtained between experimentally determined concentrations of lithium and those declared in the labels on the mineral water bottles. Mineral water resources in the Czech part of the Vienna basin

The bachelor thesis characterizes the Vienna Basin region from a geological and hydrogeological perspective. The main focus is put on the occurrence of mineral water. It describes the basic types of waters that are located there. In a closer look, it describes important types of them, mainly those ones that have the largest occurrence in the region. In another aspect, it analyzes their current condition and use. It defines basic concepts of this issue and describes common or legislative requirements for the classification and description of mineral waters. It puts a closer look and describes main sites of mineral water springs, including local spa places, especially those ones that are currently active. It also briefly deals with localities, where mineral water abstraction or spa treatment took place in the past and which are currently no longer active. The influence of precipitation on shallow mineral water abstraction

This study focuses on the influence of precipitation on shallow catchments of mineral springs in the special area of Františkovy Lázně. The thesis was made on the basis of the data provided by the company Spa Františkovy Lázně a.s.. The interdependent relations between yield springs, precipitations, atmospheric pressure and the content of free CO2 were studied. These relations were observed onto six springs - František, Luční, Nový, Solný, Železnatý and Žofie. The precipitations were compared with the yield of individual springs. The season was proved by three springs (František, Železnatý and Žofie). Retention of the precipitation was determined for springs František, Solný, Železnatý and Žofie. Considering more than half a year delay, we cannot claim that the precipitations should have a major influence on the dotation of mineral springs. The downtrend was founded for the free CO2 in all researched resources. Significant indirect relation was found using the correlation coefficient between atmospheric pressure and free CO2.

Mineral waters in the Bad Brambach - Skalná area, the current knowledges.

This paper summarizes the findings of the mineral waters around Skalná - Bad Brambach. Bad Brambach are radon spa that work here since 1912. Source Wettinquelle is one of the strongest radon springs in the world. Around Skalná is anomalous quantities of uranium, however, that there occurs in such small particles that netěžitelné. Radon is a decay product of U238 series. Within the study area is also NPR Soos, who is known moffetes, but there also are so-called diatomaceous peak which is a dry salt lake containing diatoms. Area of the Nový Kostel is the area with the most frequent occurrence of earthquakes in the Czech Republic. Several earthquake swarms were recorded as well as the local populations. Recent earthquake activity has been recorded in 2011. There are also several other spa municipal Františkovy lázně, Mariánske lázně, Karlovy Vary and other radon baths, which already are but a little further, Jáchymov.
