Návrh pěstebních opatření v porostech dřevin se zřetelem na jejich mimoprodukční funkce
Ostřížková, Nikola
The thesis deals with the evaluation of the current state of woody vegetation elements in the game preserve in Slavkov u Brna. The field will be divided into two main parts - the forestry (A), the landscaping (B). Various phytotechnical methods for the evaluation of vegetation elements are described in the literature search and subsequently applied to the model object. It deals with growing measures on adults, old and young. Especially in young and old woody plants, it is important to carry out cultivation operations. In old age mainly due to operational reasons, in young people as prevention of possible problems. Appropriate interventions lead to changes in the properties of woody plants and the influence of the surrounding vegetation. When applying measures, the natural habitus of the plant must always be taken into account. Appropriate cultivation interventions ensure the operational safety of the space, the long-term life expectancy of the plant, air flow, increased light access and temperature variations inside the crop.
The spatial final cut optimisation
Kašpar, Jan ; Marušák, Róbert (advisor) ; Lstibůrek, Milan (referee)
For more than 150 years, timber indicators have been used for forest harvest scheduling in the region of current Czech Republic. With social changes and increased importance of forest yields and functions, there has been significant changes in forest management during this time. The changes in ownership structure after 1989 are most problematic from a sustainability standpoint. Also, the timber indicators cannot consider forest age structure, which is not ideal because even small changes related to abiotic and biotic disturbances may inhibit forest planning efforts. These changes to forest ownership and structure combined with current timber indicators make it difficult to ensure sustainable harvest levels over long time horizons. Methods of operations research, such as mathematical programming and heuristic methods, provide alternatives to historical harvest scheduling methods because they can account for forest age structure and spatial relationships over long scheduling horizons.
The methods of the evaluation of the nonproductive functions and ecosystem services in the agroecosystems
TOMANOVÁ, Michaela
In my dissertation I focused on the valuation of non-productive functions methods and the ecosystem services and also on the meaning of landscape, biotopes and landscape components for provision of the services and functions. In dissertation I also mentioned the negative aspects of contemporary intensive agriculture and measures to eliminate these negative aspects. I composed this dissertation in the form of literary research.
Assessment of the condition of small water reservoirs in terms of landscape functions.
RUČ, Karel
This thesis is focused on evaluation of landscape functions of small water reservoirs. The aim is to analyze their basic parameters. For this purpose a realized project of the whole range of water reservoirs with special focus on revitalization was chosen. The source materials and the field research contributed to the final evaluation of the analysis of the water reservoirs condition before and after their completion. The basic data and revitalizing arrangements were identified according to the chosen indicators and criteria. Prevailing functions of the water reservoirs are derived from these indicators and criteria.
Usage of Non-productive functions of landscape during restructuralization of family farm in CHKO Blanský les
BÁRTLOVÁ, Kateřina
The Bachelor Thesis is aimed at analysis of present situation of an own farming business and subsequent opportunities of exploitation of extra-production functions with regard to the location conditions, business structure, its existing scope, human factor and economic aspects. The theoretical part deals with the problems of extra-production functions and environment and landscape protection in relation to agricultural operations in areas with extended environment and landscape protection. The practical part is focused on evaluation of the present condition of the business. It includes evaluation of both, plant and animal production and the subsidiary activity of the business ? accommodation facility. The conclusion evaluates suitability of the business for extra-production functions in restructuring of business activities.
