Vegetable Oils as Alternative Fuel
Ježek, Přemysl ; Svída, David (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
Presented thesis applies to possible solutions of the reduction of environmental pollution - use vegetable oil as diesel engine fuel. Thesis aims to describe important terms of this topic and to name facts linked with vegetable oils in use. In the end it tries to make a prognosis based on gathered information.
Fyzikální vlastnosti kapalných paliv a biopaliv pro vznětové motory
Dřevojan, Martin
The theoretical part of the thesis: Physical properties of liquid fuels and bio diesel for combustion engines is aimed at describing the physical properties of fuels and ra-peseed oil methyl ester. It includes familiarization with the issue of dynamic viscosity and density of internal combustion engines and a comprehensive overview of methods of measuring these quantities . Experimental work is devoted to experimental measurement of the temperature de-pendence of the dynamic viscosity and density of selected diesel samples with different concentrations of rapeseed oil methyl ester. The measurement results were processed into tables containing diagrams .
Alternative fuels for diesel engines
Baránek, Adam ; Mauder, Tomáš (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Internal combustion engines have become part of everyday life. Because oil reserves are diminishing and there is evidence of environment harmfulness of oil combustion, there is an increasing use of alternative fuels. This thesis will outline of the most commonly used alternative fuels in diesel engines with a list of advantages and disadvantages, possibilities of current use and their potential development.
