Steel welding

The topic of this Bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of welding steels. The aim is to provide the reader with basic information about welding. The introductory part gives an overview of welding and description of the basic principle. Some of the methods are described, too. The middle part elaborates on steels and their weldability. The next part of the thesis includes the most widely used methods which are MIG/MAG, WIG, Gas welding and plasma welding. Conclusion gives the overall view for welding and its future prospects.
