Hazardous Chemical Substances and Preparations

The aim of this bachelor‘s thesis is to present a brief and current summary of hazardous chemical substances based on simultaneous laws in force. It introduces basic information and data on industrial hazardous chemical substances and basic characteristics of chemical warfare agents. This thesis also deals with documentation related to solutions for emergency events in connection with hazardous chemical agent escape – type plans, methodical sheets. The work results in a proposal for another methodical sheet focused on interventions of concrete hazardous chemical substance escape, i.e. hydrogen chloride. In this way the proposal can extend the methodical sheets for chlorine and ammonia currently in use. This thesis also presents list of toxic chemical, industrial and warfare substances for working up another methodical sheets.

Detection and Laboratory Assessment of Releases of Hazardous Chemical Substances into the Environment Requiring Fire Brigade Chemical Lab Call-out

The diploma thesis is focused on a detection and a laboratory control of hazardous substances’ leak into the environment. These hazardous substances are classified. Further, it aims to chemical laboratories of the fire-brigade of the Czech Republic, as well as which place they hold in the fire-brigade system, and it indicates their main duties. This diploma thesis contains a review of some essential types of devices and mediums, which are in terms of the fire-brigade of the Czech Republic usable to practice the detection, determination and assessment of the hazardous substances in various figures of the environment in terrain, i.e. filling of duties of the chemical survey. The output of this diploma thesis is simulation of leaks of the toluene diisocyanate using ALOHA software, TerEx software and Rozex Alarm software. Further on, the proposal of another methodical sheet focused on leak actions of the concrete hazardous industrial substance – toluene diisocyanate. This methodical sheet could therefore broaden pro tempore elaborated sheets for chlorine and ammonia.

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of worksheets and their use in education in agricultural subjects. Creating worksheets is a time-consuming activity, but their use brings many positives. This bachelor thesis points out their usability in a specific subject animal husbandry. The theoretical part briefly defines the subject of animal husbandry and material teaching aids that can be used in it. It summarizes the basic characteristics of worksheets, their conditions, types of questions and learning tasks and the possibility of use in teaching. The practical part presents the possibilities of using worksheets for students and methodological sheets for teachers related to the subject animal husbandry. The thesis presents 3 worksheets for students, methodical sheets and correct worksheet completion for teachers, as an example of possible variable usage, compilation and structure across the subject according to the needs of teachers and students.

Language of SMS and French as a foreign language

in English with English title of the thesis: Language of SMS and French as a foreign language The central topic of the thesis is the language of short text messages (SMS) and/or the one of chat and their application in teaching of French as a foreign language (fr. abbreviation F.L.E., français langue étrangère). The aim is to answer the question so as to how to grasp linguo- didactically this modern sociolect of young users (not only) of French, typical of written communication via digital technologies, with the purpose of the purely practical use in the classes of French. Firstly, a linguistic description will be given in order to understand the mechanisms of the explored language code not only in French, but also partly in Czech and English, as well as the determination of the position of the SMS language as a socio-cultural phenomenon in the present-day French. The following research will be dealing with the identification and the analysis of the teaching activities using the SMS language found in approximately fifty text books of French intended for the learners of levels A1, A2, B1, B2. The next section offers the theoretical evaluation of the exploitability of the SMS language in the classes of French, having as a point of reference specialised works of didactics of foreign languages. The artistic personality of Karel Zeman

The diploma thesis named The Artistic personality of Karel Zeman consists of theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part includes basic information about the artist Karel Zeman and his works. It deals with inspirational influences that had impact on his creations and puts them into the international context. It is also focused on finding the effects of Zeman's work at contemporary cultural environment. The practical part of this diploma thesis consists of three methodical papers which are made for selected films of the director Karel Zeman. These papers are in the concertina book's form, they offer some basic information about the selected film. They also comprise creative tasks and writing assignments to think about. Graphical design of methodical papers was created using vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator.
