Reinforced concrete structures of a family house

This diploma thesis concerns with a design of structure of a family house, garage and supporting wall. Design of these structures was accomplished id software SCIA Engineer, which uses finite element method and was veryfied by manual calculation. Design was ma-de in accordance with applicable standarts. The results are drawings of reinforcement of family house.
Design of the roof structure over the garage

The bachelor´s thesis „Design of the roof structure over the garage“ deals design and dimensioning of concrete roof structure, consisting continuous two way slab. The slab is suportted by beams in both directions. The aim of the project is to desing and evaluate the ultimate limit state of reinforced concrete slabs and beams. Also was created computational model to analysis the construction, model was created in software Scia Engineer. To verify the resulting values of internal forces was used to the method of replacement beans. Finally was made drawings of roof structure.
Assessment of Reinforced Concrete Elements

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is the analysis of internal forces design and assessment of the reinforced concrete loadbearing elements. Staircase, floor slab and window header of a detached house with supporting masonry walls are designed in the thesis. In the project of the floor slab the occur of a thermal bridge is taken into account. To prevention of thermal bridge are used systematic elements. To analysis internal forces on the structure Finite Element Method in the SCIA Engineer 19.1 software is used. The results of selected sections and selected load combinations are verified by method of replacement beams. Internal forces on the staircase are calculated by method of replacement beams.
Design of underground garage under the block of flats

As the main topic this thesis describes the design and evaluation of selected reinforced concrete members of the underground garage construction of the administration building at ultimate limit state and also at serviceability limit state, both in accordance with EC2: Design of Concrete Structures. Designed members in particular are monolithic slab, girders and columns. Structural design and evaluation of other structures of the building are not part of this thesis. The text part of the thesis concerns the descriptions of analysed structures and also the descriptions of the loads acting on them. Method of designing of the structures, methods of calculating of inner forces, and also the method of modelling the structure in software SCIA Engineer are herein further described. The annexes are mainly structural analysis, which expresses the knowledge obtained from the theoretical part of this thesis, and the drawing documentation.
Reinforced concrete ceiling of house

The bachelor’s thesis is focused on the design and assessment of monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling of house. Calculation of internal forces is carried out in a computer software SCIA Engineer with manual verification using the simplifield method. Assessment is done according to Eurocode 2 (ČSN EN 1992-1-1).
