Thermodynamic Analysis of Internal Combustion Engine
Čajka, Lukáš ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with analysis of the thermodynamics of the internal combustion engine. A survey on individual types of sensors used to measure pressure in combustion chamber is stated in the introductory part of the thesis. Another section deals with design of measuring chain. The main subject matter deals with compilation of the calculation program pertaining to the analysis of indicator diagram. Evaluation the results and procedures are included in the conclusion.
Design of Device for Vehicle Center of Gravity Height Measurement
Rektořík, Jiří ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
The objective of this diploma thesis is the design of a device that measures the vehicle’s centre of gravity height position. The first part defines individual methods of measurement using various measuring equipment. The next part deals with the definition of requirements for the device and the definition of the design. A stress-strain analysis was executed for selected components. This diploma thesis describes the preparation process of the vehicle and the device for the measurement. The next part is dedicated to the design of the measuring chain and to the evaluation of the results. The thesis concludes with a theoretic analysis of the measurement inaccuracy.
Measurement of Stirling engine
Kovář, Michal ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis describes the design chain to indicate the measuring cylinder Stirling engine. It describes the practical problems of measurement methodology and highlights the possible pitfalls of the measuring chain. For measuring the use of pre-existing model of gamma Stirling engine modification. It was carried out systematic measurement and evaluation of measured data. As a mathematical model for comparison with the measured data was used ideal cycle and Schmidt theory.
Development of method for lubrication regime evaluation in rolling bearing
Valenta, Jakub ; Čermák, Jan (referee) ; Šperka, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is to develop measuring methods for evaluation of the lubrication regime in a rolling bearing. The first part of thesis maps several measuring methods according to which the lubrication mode can be evaluated. Based on the assessment of this part, electrical monitoring methods were selected. For application of these methods was constructed testing device with rolling bearing. Specific measuring chains based on selected methods were designed and verified by using initial tests on a ball-on-disk tribometer. According to the results of these initial measurements was selected and applied suitable measuring chain to the selected test device. In the end, there was a successful measuring the lubrication parameter on the rolling bearing. Additionally, other tests dealing with the influence of temperature and type of oil on the measurement itself were performed.
