STŘELEČKOVÁ, Lucie
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to characterize selected directions of organic farming, to compare them and to find out their possible benefits for society. The bachelor thesis is written in the style of literary research. Directions ANOG system, macrobiotic farming, mazdaznan agriculture and stock-free farming which belong among the extreme variants of organic farming were selected for characteristics. These directions are governed by the rules of classical organic farming, but they differ from it not only in their philosophy, but also in some of their farming methods. Selected directions occupy only a small percentage of the total area of organic farming and are mostly operated on a non-commercial basis. This bachelor thesis is divided into first part based on the description and expansion of organic farming in Europe and in the world. The next part describes the individual extreme variants of organic farming. At the end of the bachelor thesis, the characteristic directions are compared and their influence on today's society is outlined.
