Lean Manufacturing and its Implementation
Prokeš, Marek ; Smolinský, Juraj (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
Main theme of my bachelor thesis is implementation of lean manufacturing on the production line in Protherm Production s.r.o. First part deals with theoretical approaches of lean manufacturing and methods used in its implementation. Second part – analytical consist of a presentation of the company, analysis of the current state of production line and material flows on it. The last part presents proposals for more optimal and leaner installation of boilers on the line.
Improving material flow by using a logistics train
Grepl, Radovan ; Urbanovský, Jan (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
The main content of this master´s thesis is the analysis of the current state and the proposal an internal supply of assembly lines in the company Koyo Bearings s. r. o. This company specializes in the production of bearings mainly for the automotive industry. The supply of the lines operates on the principle of Mikl-run. The practical part focuses on creating a simulation model using the Plant Simulation simulation software from Siemens PLM Software. Based on the created model, several variants were proposed to optimize the loading of the packaging material. These variants were analyzed and evaluated.
Material flow concept of a production line supply
Sedláček, Petr ; Dorušáková, Kamila (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
The content of this thesis is a research analysis of individual concepts in the field of corporate logistics with an emphasis on intra-company transport. In the practical part, the current state of the production line loading is evaluated and new variants of line supply are made on the of the given parameters. The work also includes the creation of simulation models of all variants in the Plant Simulation program and conclusions are drawn based on the data obtained.
Design of production process management in a manufacturing company
Mišák, Ondřej ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of material flow and inventory flow between warehouse and production sections. The first part of the thesis deals with a theoretical analysis of the production process with a focus on logistics. The second part describes the current situation in a manufacturing company, the proposed changes, their implementation conditions and benefits.
Design and optimization of supply and distribution warehouse using dynamic simulation
Zindler, Lukáš ; Batěk, Roman (referee) ; Urbánek, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design the optimization of a production and distribution warehouse for tyres using dynamic simulation. The theoretical part deals with logistics concepts and warehouse systems, while the practical part provides a detailed analysis of the current state of the warehouse. Several optimization changes are then designed and tested on the created virtual model of the warehouse using simulation experiments of the Plant Simulation software. In conclusion, the proposed optimizations are evaluated.
Design of material handling between the planned interimwarehouse and welding shops using dynamic simulation
Vícha, Ondřej ; Urbánek, Michal (referee) ; Hloska, Jiří (advisor)
This master thesis deals with optimizing material and information flow between the production plants and warehouses during the reconstruction of the manufacturing plant of Schäfer in Hranice na Moravě. At first, a theoretical introduction to the issues of inter-company transport services is presented. This introduction is followed by an analysis of the current state of material and information flow at the manufacturing plant. The practical part of the thesis consists of a simulation model made in the Tecnomatix plant simulation program. This simulation model includes the plant's current and future states and a layout of future material flow between the welding shops and warehouses. It also contains a conceptual design of the material flow. The optimization is conducted using a matrix of experiments, which are subsequently evaluated. In the end, the most optimal solution for material and information flow is developed and suggested.
The concept of handling steel sheet plates
Šidák, Jan ; Frühbauer, Jiří (referee) ; Baláž, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the conceptual design of steel sheet handling. The theoretical part describes the basic possible ways of steel sheet handling and their parameters. The following section contains time calculations of the handling process, specifically the design of the handling process using the triangular method with a focus on the shortest transport time. Subsequently, there is a description of a simple handling device for this process in Vanad's hall according to the requirements of this company, where the main proposed component is a bracket to which the handling device is attached. The thesis includes a strength analysis of this component.
Analysis of the newly established production line
Marušíková, Dominika ; Jurová, Marie (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of a newly established printing production line, which was implemented in order to expand the portfolio of services provided by the company. The goal is to determine if the production line is efficient and to identify areas that need improvement. The thesis analyses the current state of the production line, its production processes, value and material flows. Based on the identified bottlenecks, changes are suggested to improve the current state.
Layout solution of the machining center producing the shaft component
Göth, Karel ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a machining center for a shaft-shaped component. For the design of the machine shop, it is necessary to obtain information from the production process and the drawing. This information, together with the number of pieces produced per year and the standard time for each machining operation, will allow the design to be carried out. In the first step, it is necessary to carry out capacity calculations, which will give us the necessary number of workers, machines, manual workplaces and production and non-production areas. Following this, it is necessary to place the machines on the production area based on the established method of arranging the machines. In addition to the production equipment, various other aspects of the production hall will also be located in this step, such as toilets, changing rooms, foremen's office, workshops, etc. It is necessary to ensure the optimal location of the individual parts of the production with the help of the Sankey diagram, which will allow us to visualize the material flow. The flow of material needs to be solved at multiple levels, namely inter-object transport of material, inter-operational transfers of material, technological operations with material and waste management. At the end, an economic evaluation of the proposed giant will be carried out.
