Methods of non-destructive testing of materials and products
Vontor, Jakub ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Prokeš, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to perform a search of methods of non-destructive testing and to choose a right method for experimental test of sample. Bachelor thesis is mainly focused on the methods which are used for inspection of welds. Result of experimental non-destructive test is important to verify by destructive inspection.

What wood for wood buildings?
Beránková, Jitka
Cracked beams, beetles flying out of the roof trusses, rot and mold, twisted wooden planks, and other nightmares of wooden buildings users can only become a reality if no known binding wood requirements for the wooden construction. Several principles and important information on the required wood properties are brought to you by the Timber Institute in Prague.

Optické interferometrické metody využité pro studium interakcí akustických vln s nehomogenitami materiálu
Trnka, Jan ; Dvořáková, Pavla
The paper is concerned with interpretation of transient wave phenomena occurring in impacted thin plate with simple structural inhomogenities. Wave phenomena in the vicinity the hole or the added mass, is studied by means of simultaneous application of the double pulse ESPI and D-CH laservibrometry. FFT is used to analyse point-wise history of velocity or displacements in frequency domain.
Crack propagation analysis in multilayered pipes
Bareš, Pavel
The fracture behavior of multilayered pipes applied for water and gas distribution is analyzed in this paper. The attention is focused on numerical modeling of crack propagation through twolayered pipe. Special attention is paid to the influence of interface between the layers on fatigue crack growth. The analysis is performed under the assumption of validity of linear-elastic fracture mechanic. Numerical calculations are performed by finite element method (system ANSYS).
Modeling of specific cathegory of bi-material bodies with respect to fracture mechanics\' problems solution
Bareš, Pavel
Paper deal with numerical calculation problems of crack terminating throught an interface between two elastic identical materials with different yield stresses. Calculations are based on finite element method. Crack behaviour is described here by means of crack tip opening displacement CTOD assessed as a translation vector component on the 4. node from the crack tip lies on the crack face when the eight-node elements are used.
