Specific processes and management in utility companies

Master thesis analyses factors which has influence on a way of process management within utility companies. Thesis expands results of previous researches from the of utility market and information systems field. The main objective is to prepare an overview and comparison of specialized ERP systems to support specific business processes of utility companies and analysis of selected ERP solutions against factors that influence the development of these systems. The partial aim is to analyze innovation factors, information acquisition and processing to theoretical basis. The benefits for the reader is the overview and comparison of ERP systems, overview of risk factors influencing the successful implementation and effective operation of the ERP system, analysis and design solution to strategic challenges in utility industry and analysis of partial ERP system againt these challenges.
Local fees in a chosen municipality

The presented bachelor thesis deals with local fees in a chosen municipality. Czech municipalities have a right for self-administration and independently decision-making in the area of its own competence. Local government as a non-state subject needs to have some financial independence and therefore municipalities can levy local fees. My main objective is to analyze and evaluate local fees and their collection from 2001 till 2008 in Hostivice, which is located west of Prague. I focused at the same time on administration of local fees that is necessary for fee collection in the municipality. In the municipality play important role evaders as well. There are about three hundred together at the present time. In the main part of my bachelor thesis I deal with development and rates during particular years and I analyze total revenues from the local fees that were levied by the municipality. Presented figures show clearly, in which year the municipality collected the greatest revenues and if that revenues stay unchanged, increased or decreased. The conclusions of the thesis content recommendations to municipality, those follow the realized analysis.

The diploma thesis analyzes market in human reproductive cells - men's sperms and women's eggs for use in assisted reproduction. The topic of this diploma thesis arises from the increasing infertility and urgency of the assisted reproduction in the modern society. This paper is divided in two parts. The first part of this paper describes a historical development of assisted reproduction and than economic theory that is applicable to the human reproductive cells market namely the theory of the prohibition and the theory of the price regulation. Second part analyzes three different reproductive cells markets -- American, British and Czech market. Second part also discus arguments and criticism of the free human organ markets included human reproductive cells market. This paper brings integrated summary based on arguments evaluating free trade with human sperms and eggs.
