Measurement of illuminance distribution on roadways using the luminance analyser LDA
Cudrák, Martin ; Škoda, Jan (referee) ; Motyčka, Martin (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with the possibility of measuring road illuminance using the LDA luminance analyser and LumiDISP software. The theoretical part describes luminous quantities, optical properties of selected materials, especially road materials – asphalt, and normative requirements for road lighting. In the practical part, the production of measuring samples is implemented for subsequent field measurements. A series of laboratory and field measurements are carried out in the following section. Based on these measurements, the measurement method and the measurement procedure have been determined and refined. The aim of the master's thesis is to determine the measurement method, the measurement procedure and to quantify the accuracy of the illuminance measurement method using the luminance analyser LDA.
Design of the lighting system in the joinery workshop
Ševčík, Přemysl ; Novák, Filip (referee) ; Škoda, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of current lighting system in workshop and creation a new model of lighting system. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with lighting parameters of lighting system. Practical part is dedicated to evaluation of current lighting system that is based on performed measurement. Further the new model of lighting system is created so that the work in workshop would be pleasant and economical. An economical proposal is created for the new lighting, which is compared with the current lighting system.
Evaluation of light pipe influence on daylight in buildings
Král, Jakub ; Katunský,, Dušan (referee) ; Plch,, Jiří (referee) ; Mohelníková, Jitka (advisor)
The topic framework of this dissertation is the technology of lighting in buildings using tubular light pipes. For the assessment of these systems, a continuous measurement of daylight was performed on a comparison surface under two different tubular light pipes of similar dimensions for one year. At the same time, data of exterior lighting conditions were recorded. Independently of these measurements, spectral reflectance measurements of the inner surface samples of both light pipe tubes were performed. Furthermore, light simulations were performed in the HOLIGILM program, and the efficiency of direct tube light pipes of various diameters and lengths was evaluated. Finally, an evaluation of electricity consumption savings was also made by replacing the artificial lighting source with a light pipes. The results of measurements and light simulations provided data for the evaluation and designing of tubular light pipes in buildings.
