Analysis of social housing in the Czech Republic in 2014 and the possibilities of its future development

This Bachelor Thesis is focused on the situation of social housing in the Czech Republic in 2014 and on the possibilities of its future development. Analysis of the housing market brings result that housing expenditures are increasing year by year, simultaneously grow the numbers of social benefits of housing allowance and allowance for living, and so the state expenditure on this politics are increasing. As emerged from the analysis of social housing in the regions of the Czech Republic, the number of social housing is unbalanced between regions. This thesis recommends connecting social housing with the income poverty rate and with the unemployment rate, it also suggests possibilities of future development regarding the specification of duties of the state and municipalities and greater involvement of the regions in the system of social housing. Moreover, it suggests the possibility of future application of the market principle in the form of social rental agencies.
Danger of Over-indebtedness to the Czech low-income Households

At first the bachelor thesis discusses the meaning of the term over-indebtedness in the Czech Republic. It is defined as such a financial situation when the subject is unable to fullfill its financial obligations. The work furthermore represents possible solutions for people who found themselves in this situation. The second part examines whether the 20 % of households with the lowest income are more threatend than the others in a few last years and whether they are leading to a debt trap. It deals with the comparison of basic data, which are revenues, expenses, debts and savings among different income groups and also among a few last years. Main conclusion of the thesis is that the financial position of this group of Czech households is stable and not leading to over-indebtedness.
Indebtedness of Czech households and the institute of personal bankruptcy

The paper in the field of personal and family finances is focused on the current situation of indebtedness of Czech households and the comparison in the context of the European countries. It analyses the development of indebtedness and personal bankruptcies before the crisis and nowadays. The paper presents the possibilities of prevention of excessive debts. It describes the institute of personal bankruptcy and deals with the possibility of its application to the subjects with excessive debts. Therefore, the paper summarizes the advantages and the risks of the application of the personal bankruptcy in practice.
