Visualisation for risk models in logistics
Hamšík, Filip ; Pavlas, Martin (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis focuses on development of web application for the visualization of waste transportation according to calculated data from optimization methods in GAMS application. Visualization shows the nodes and edges on Google Maps where it is possible to show more detailed information including diagrams and tables. The application provides filtering edges by their type, highlighting edges with dynamic setting, several different ways for user access and other features. Based on developed application there will be presented some recommendations applicable in future using of the model.
Inventory and logistics management
MÄRCOVÁ, Nikol
The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of processes related to inventory and logistics. That is attained through the description of inventory and logistics management and explaining concepts such as logistics and logistics processes, stocks and stockholding, purchase, purchase management and sale. The text also involves a register, a report and evaluation of stocks and on logistics network. With regard to analysis of actual state of inventory management in a company Jihočeská zelenina trade s. r. o., options for optimization of logistics processes are presented. Optimization is focused on quantity of distribution lines and their costs and on potential merging of some of these distribution lines together and also on comparison of storage costs with costs for more frequent distribution. Furthermore, the hypothesis of total costs was calculated in a situation, where the cost for transport would be more expensive, but the purchase price of inventories, on the contrary, cheaper. This is followed by a comparison with the current situation and finding out, which model is more effective for the company. All the necessary data are obtained through interviews with employees and from accounting documents.
