Evaluation of the Company´s Financial Performance using Benchmarking Approach

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of business and financial performance of the company Zemědělské družstvo Hodonice using the method of Benchmarking. The first part focuses on the theoretical basis necessary to solution the issue. In the second part the selected company is characterized, which is completed by a strategic analysis of the company. The following part is devoted to the main part of the thesis, which is the benchmarking of the company with selected competitors. The last part proposes measures to improve the financial and business performance of the company.

Liquidity and Predictability of Cryptoassets

The relationship between liquidity and return predictability may be an im- portant aspect to consider when investing in cryptoassets. We examine this relation using both cross-sectional as well as panel data. First, we calculate a set of predictability measures and aggregate the results into four variables. We then regress the predictability variables on a set of controls and two measures of liquidity, specifically the Amihud illiquidity ratio and the Corwin-Schultz spread estimate. The other independent variables include the logarithm of volume, turnover ratio and Garman-Klass volatility. Results from the cross- sectional analysis indicate that liquidity negatively impacts the degree of return predictability. Moreover, findings from a subset of panel data, including only 50 cryptoassets with the largest market capitalization, provide some evidence in favor of this relationship. Results from full panel data, however, present contradictory evidence. For these regressions, liquidity is found to be either in- significant or to possess a positive impact on the degree of return predictability. Altogether, we obtain mixed evidence about the effect of cryptoasset liquidity on return predictability. Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Company and Proposals to its improvement

This bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of the financial situation of a selected corporation in the period from 2015 to 2019. It specifies which methods of financial analysis are used to evaluate. It also contains an analysis of the current state of the company, its financial health and suggestions for improving the situation for further development, which is very important for the company. This is the company BAGRUJEME CZ s.r.o., which performs excavation and earthworks in Prostějov and its surroundings.

All of this is going to be contained in an excel application, which will be available for continual usage in upcoming years for the company, not only for repeated calculations of economic indicators, but also statistic indicators, which are going to serve as basis for strategic decision making in investment field.

The bachelor’s thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial situation of the company TENZA cast, a.s. in the period 2014–2018. The theoretical part defines the individual concepts, methods, indicators, and formulas. The analytical part introduces the selected company and then its analysis is carried out based on the knowledge of the theoretical part. The last part of the thesis analyses the results of the analytical part and proposes measures to improve the financial situation of the company.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of investment decision making of real estate companies in the Czech Republic. The introduction is focused on theoretical knowledge about the factors affecting the price of real estate. Based on those facts, a formula for the analysis of the real estate market is created as well as investment modulation . The conclusion of this thesis is focused on recommendations for real estate companies how to choose an asset structure more effectively.
