Multifunctional building
Porubská, Katarína ; Šoulová, Eva (referee) ; Vlček, Milan (advisor)
The subject of my master’s thesis is creating a part of a design documentation for constructing a mixed-use building with nearly zero energy consumption. The mixed-use building is designed as abuilding with four above-ground floors and a basement. The building has a rectangular plan with dimensions 36,20 x 18,70 m. On the first above ground floor, there are three non-residential spaces intended as shops eventually as office spaces and the entrance to the living area of the mixed-use building. The living area contains 18 dwelling units from which one is dedicated for a person with disability. In the basement of the building are technical utilities of the building and storage spaces for each dwelling unit. From the construction side the newly-build mixed use building is designed as masonry building made from clay blocks, cast-in-place reinforced concrete floor skeletons and a green warm flat roof. Access road, hard landscaping, car park, bike racks and a space dedicated to containers for municipal waste are part of the building.
